Everyone says I’m a lazy girl. But don’t laugh at me. I’m a little sloth. I was born to be “slothful”.
I sleep up to 20 hours a day. When I’m awake, I just stay in my tree. I don’t like to go anywhere.
I don’t eat very often. But once I eat, I eat a lot. My stomach is very big.
About once a week, I go down from the tree and go to the bathroom. It is the most dangerous time for me. There might be enemies around, such as big cats. If they see me, I will have no chance to run away. I can only fight with my sharp claws.
I don’t have to go to school. But that’s a good thing. I’ll never make it on time anyway. I’m too slow. I move only about 1.8 to 2.4 meters a minute. Walking is so hard for me!
My family and I live in the forests of Central and South America(中美洲和南美洲). All of us have a small round head and very long arms like monkeys. Our big eyes give us a sad look.
I don’t like to take showers, either. There is some green algae growing on my fur. But I’m not going to wash it off. It makes me look like green leaves. Other animals cannot see me, so they cannot catch me.
