This book records the architectural features of Longwan folk houses in the middle and late Qing Dynasty. It also tells the story of the reconstruction of the village in the city of Longwan in the new era. Longwan District activates cultural heritage and excavates cultural deposits through the “Longwan mode” of “on-site protection， migration protection， and disassembly component protection” to archive the ancient buildings in Longwan and retain the “nostalgia” for the city， practicing the essence of President Xi Jinping’s speech of “Enjoying the view of mountains and waters and remembering one’s roots!”
