Tourists and locals have been sharing videos after stumbling4 across“fairydoors”in Brisbane.

The first “mysterious5”mini doorway, which measures barely 10 centimetreshigh, appeared in the city in 2017.

Since then, more have been popping6 up, with these “weird and wonderful”tiny doors now dotted around for people to find and enjoy.

The mini doors are the brainchild of artist Mace Robertson.

Mr. Robertson said he’d been inspired by the “magical portal7”betweenour world and the fairy realm8 usually found at the base of tree trunks9 in thefairy stories.

His first creation was a red door, complete with window, but there havebeen different designs in the years since and finding them all has become apopular activity.

Social media is awash with videos from visitors and locals alike as they stumbleacross the doors before trying to find more. Many declare they are the “best thing”they’d discovered in the city.

There are different designs, including a fire station with doors. Some even opento reveal10 a QR code, which plays a behind-the-scenes film. Some even had a“back in 5 minutes”sign.
