My Travel to Anhui我的安徽游记

Anhui Province is famous for its traditional opera： Huangmei Opera. It has a long history， and there are beautiful mountains and rivers. Gowith me to enjoy the fantastic scenery in Anhui！

安徽省以其地方传统戏曲黄梅戏而闻名。这里历史悠久，山川秀丽。跟我一起去领略安徽的迷人风光吧！

Huangshan is one of the Chinese top ten famous mountains. It has nine parts： Hot Springs， Cloud Valley， Jade Screen， Pine Valley and so on. Standing here， you’re as if in a sea of clouds and the wonderland.

黄山是中华十大名山之一。黄山境内分为温泉、云谷、玉屏、松谷等九个管理区。在这里，你仿佛置身于云海仙境一般。

What is a must-to-taste in Anhui？ Of course it’s the Smelly Mandarin Fish. It tastes really special and good. Have you ever heard of Mao Tofu， a special local cuisine in Huizhou？ It’s made by the special sour slurry.

安徽必尝的特色美食是什么？那必然是臭鳜鱼了。它闻着臭吃着香。你知道徽州名小吃毛豆腐吗？它由特殊的酸浆水发酵而成。

Xuan Paper from Anhui is very famous. People make the paper with the fiber from Green sandalwood skins. We can only find this kind of fiber in Jing County. I see how to make it in Xuan Paper Culture Park. How fantastic！

安徽宣纸非常出名，它是用青檀树皮的纤维制作而成的。这种纤维仅存在于安徽泾县。我在宣纸文化园观看了制作宣纸的整个过程。太了不起了！

Mrs Lu： Racy， you have visited many cities of Anhui. Can you understand their native languages there？

Racy： I can’t understand at all. People from different cities of Anhui can’t understand each other either.

Mrs Lu： Sounds interesting！ But why？

Racy： Anhui is a big province. Yangtze River and Huaihe River run through Anhui. They divide it into three big areas from north to south.

Mrs Lu： So people from different areas speak with different accents？

Racy： Yes， that’s a very special phenomenon.
