Network Curriculum Design of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacy Specialty Formed by Introducing Guangxi Minority Medicine

Abstract Starting from the background and significance of the development and design of the network course of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty formed by introducing Guangxi minority medicine, this paper discusses the teaching design scheme and module construction of the network course in the development process, and summarizes the design, production and construction experience of the network course. Through practice, the teaching effect and achievement of the network course of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty formed by introducing Guangxi minority medicine are obvious.

1 Introduction

Traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy is a subject that studies all links of traditional Chinese medicine manufacturing on the basis of learning the basic theory of modern traditional Chinese medicine. It is a relatively new specialty, which is different from not only traditional Chinese medicine but also pharmaceutical engineering. It is a pharmaceutical engineering specialty biased towards traditional Chinese medicine, and is a specialty specialized in cultivating talents for the research and development of traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy has specificity and is more specific to the development and preparation of new drugs in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. The course involves traditional Chinese medicine, chemistry, biology and engineering, with a wide range of contents and great teaching difficulty. Therefore, how to reform the teaching of "traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy" and how to build a characteristic specialty to make it meet the training objectives of students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy are the topics we should deal with together.

Chinese traditional medicine includes the traditional medicine of 56 nationalities in China. The medicine of 55 ethnic minorities has made great contributions to the survival and development of their own nationalities and the health of the whole Chinese people. Guangxi is located in the southern China, and is a minority autonomous region with the Zhuang Nationality as the main body. It is also the province (region) with the largest minority population in China, and more than 90% of the Zhuang people live in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. There are 12 ethnic groups living in the territory, including Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, Dong, Mulao, Maonan, Hui, Jing, Yi, Shui and Gelao. Among them, Guangxi has the largest population of Yao Nationality in China, accounting for about 60% of the total population of Yao Nationality in China. Guangxi ethnic medicine industry has a broad mass base and profound historical accumulation, and it is an important part of China’s excellent traditional culture and modern health resources. Guangxi has rich location advantages and resource advantages, and promoting the sustainable development of national pharmaceutical industry is the inevitable requirement of coordinated and shared development. The introduction of ethnic medicine culture into classroom teaching should inherit, innovate and develop ethnic medicine culture. The introduction of traditional Chinese medicine specialty with Guangxi minority medicine can promote the development of each other, which is of great significance to ethnic medicine and traditional Chinese medicine[1].

2 Significance of introducing Guangxi minority medicine into the network course of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty

Minority medical culture is the general name of human traditional medical culture system, an important part of world medical culture and a vivid embodiment of human cultural diversity. In order to reproduce, ethnic minorities understand, adapt to and transform nature in different ways in their respective production and life processes. In the long historical process, they have accumulated rich experience in disease prevention and treatment, and formed their own distinctive minority medical culture, with distinctive ethnic characteristics. It is these ethnic minority medical culture that has protected their national health for a long time.

Guangxi minority medical culture is the general name of Guangxi minority traditional medical culture system, and is an extremely important part of China’s minority medical culture. The ethnic minorities in Guangxi have accumulated rich experience in disease prevention and treatment in the long history of production and life, which has formed a unique minority medical culture with strong Guangxi ethnic customs. The CPC Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to the inheritance, innovation and development of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine. In theOpinionsoftheCPCCentralCommitteeandtheStateCouncilonPromotingtheInheritance,InnovationandDevelopmentofTraditionalChineseMedicine, it is clearly put forward that "it should vigorously promote the quality improvement of traditional Chinese medicine and the high-quality development of the industry"; "minority medicine is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine. Relevant localities can formulate and improve relevant policies and measures to promote the development of minority medicine in the region in accordance with the opinion". In theSeveralOpinionsoftheStateCouncilonfurtherPromotingtheEconomicandSocialDevelopmentofGuangxi(Guofa[2009]42), the "implementation of the revitalization plan of Zhuang and Yao medicine" is put forward. In October 2020, regional conference on traditional Chinese medicine was hold, and it was proposed "high-quality integration of traditional Chinese medicine and industry in Guangxi, and characteristic development of traditional Chinese medicine, Zhuang and Yao medicine", "accelerating the building of traditional Chinese medicine, Zhuang and Yao pharmaceutical industry into an important emerging industry in Guangxi, and the realization of the goal of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine strong region". In theImplementationOpinionsonPromotingtheInheritance,InnovationandDevelopmentofTraditionalChineseMedicine,ZhuangandYaoMedicine, theZhuangandYaoMedicineRevitalizationPlaninGuangxiZhuangAutonomousRegion, and theImplementationPlanforEnhancementProjectofTraditionalChineseMedicine,ZhuangandYaoMedicineCultureConnotationinGuangxiZhuangAutonomousRegion(2021-2025), it defines the implementation path of improvement project of traditional Chinese medicine, Zhuang and Yao medicine culture connotation in Guangxi from four aspects, and extracts the brand plan of traditional Chinese medicine culture creation. The introduction of the above series of policies and measures has provided strong support for the development of ethnic medicine industry in the region.

The results of the fourth general survey of traditional Chinese medicine resources in Guangxi show that the total number of species of traditional Chinese medicine resources in Guangxi is 7 506, an increase of 2 883 over the third general survey. The background number of traditional Chinese medicine resources ranks in the forefront of the country, and the development potential of traditional Chinese medicine, Zhuang and Yao medicine industry is huge. The minority medicine with Zhuang and Yao medicine as the main body in the region has unique characteristics, and the development of Zhuang and Yao medicine industry plays an important role in the high-quality development of economy and culture in the region. Colleges and universities undertake the important task of talent training and social service, and the setting of professional courses should adapt to the development of social economy. Strengthening the construction of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty is an important link in cultivating new traditional Chinese medicine talents, and introducing Zhuang and Yao medical elements into classroom teaching is an inevitable requirement for the inheritance, innovation and development of Zhuang and Yao medical culture. Traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy is the main subject of traditional Chinese medicine knowledge dissemination. The introduction of minority medical elements into the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty is the key measure to form the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty, which can enhance the national identity and pride of medical students and improve students’ interest in learning. The introduction of ethnic medicine elements in traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy can make a positive contribution to the inheritance of ethnic medicine culture. At the same time, ethnic medicine culture provides rich content for cultivating students’ humanistic quality[1-2].

3 Teaching design of network course of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty formed by introducing Guangxi minority medicine

Based on the research of the curriculum reform teaching mode of "open classroom, role exchange, interdisciplinary, strengthening hands-on and national characteristics", this paper introduces the teaching design of the network curriculum of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty formed by Guangxi minority medicine.

Network course mainly refers to the teaching activities that rely on information technology and Internet technology, take the network teaching platform as the carrier and carry out standardized management through reasonable means. Its characteristics are networking, digitization, portability and unification. Online courses enhance the interaction between teaching and learning, the openness of courses and the cooperation of learning, and provide students with convenient learning ways, rich teaching resources and personalized learning environment. The teaching activities around online courses are more independent and personalized, which greatly strengthens the adaptability of education.

The teaching goal is the foundation of the curriculum, and it grasps the development trend and general direction of teaching. Only by determining the teaching objectives can learners have a clear learning direction. Online courses provide students with a personalized and autonomous learning platform, so it should design teaching objectives from the perspective of autonomous learning. Ethnic medicine network course is a clinical application-oriented course with ethnic characteristics, which helps students master the basic knowledge and operating skills of ethnic medicine, and enables students to initially establish clinical thinking and form the ability to initially engage in the clinical application of ethnic medicine and ethnic medical technology, and improve students’ clinical practical ability and the ability to integrate theory with practice. These are the overall teaching objectives of this course. In addition, each teaching unit and knowledge point are designed with hierarchical objectives, so that students have clear learning objectives when learning each type of drugs and each type of techniques, so as to achieve targeted learning in the learning process, reduce blindness and improve learning efficiency[3].

3.1 Teaching objectivesAccording to the content of the training plan for the specialty of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy, the teaching courses are selected. The syllabus of each course is designed, and the teaching contents, objectives, key points and difficulties are introduced according to each chapter, so that students can have a clear understanding of the course. It also includes teaching courseware, teaching design, teaching video, experimental guidance, problem sets and other contents to promote students’ understanding and learning of the main contents of the course. Professional training objectives: cultivate senior technical application professionals who master the basic theoretical knowledge and basic skills necessary for the specialty of traditional Chinese medicine pharmaceutical technology, and engage in the production process, technical transformation and production management of decoction pieces, Chinese patent medicines and traditional Chinese medicine preparations. Guangxi minority medicine is introduced into the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine pharmaceutical specialty to form a characteristic network course.

3.2 Content of coursesThe teaching contents of the network course of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy mainly include the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, the basic theory, production technology and quality control of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces and traditional Chinese medicine preparation production, and the basic knowledge of Guangxi minority medical culture (such as the basic theory and drug classification of Zhuang and Yao medicine). The course content adopts the method of "unit navigation", and the teaching units are classified into modules. Students can search and learn at any time through simple and clear unit bars. With the help of virtual reality technology and network multimedia technology, online course simply and clearly presents the course content in rich and colorful forms such as sound playback, virtual simulation, animation and video playback, forming a dynamic and vivid learning situation, and stimulating students’ interest and enthusiasm in learning.

3.3 Classroom developmentClassroom expansion is the extension of in-class knowledge, and the content of Guangxi minority medicine is introduced as the focus of classroom expansion. The medical culture of Guangxi ethnic minorities is one of the manifestations of Luoyue culture. Luoyue people are an ancient nation living in Lingnan and the ancestors of modern Zhuang, Maonan, Dong, Shui, Mulao and other ethnic minorities. Luoyue ancient country has created a brilliant Luoyue culture and still affects Chinese civilization. The expanded content sets up different columns, such as Zhuang medicine column, to introduce the characteristic Zhuang medicine theory, "Yin and Yang oriented", "three Qi synchronization", "three ways and two ways", "viscera, bones, flesh, Qi and blood"; classification of Zhuang drugs; Zhuang medicine thread and point moxibustion therapy, Zhuang medicine meridian tendon therapy,etc.Yao medicine column introduces Yao medicine theory. Miao medicine column introduces Miao medicine culture, Miao medicine fumigation therapy,etc.

3.4 Fun paradiseIn the fun paradise, the boring and hard to remember knowledge points become vivid and interesting by designing different interesting short videos and games. Flash animation is made in the difficult knowledge points, so that the students can relax and learn the knowledge points while watching the animation. The knowledge breakthrough content with different degrees of difficulty will be set up in the part of overcoming all the difficulties in the way. The students can complete the exercises in the form of breakthrough games, and the process is easy and improves the students’ interest. It lets students draw thinking guidance, to deepen their understanding of Guangxi minority medical culture, improve students’ love for minority medical culture, and enhance students’ national pride. The interesting paradise column makes the online course of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy lively, practical and interesting. It can not only learn the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy and Guangxi minority medicine culture, but also relax. It is another major feature of the course.

3.5 Evaluation designAssessment and evaluation system is an important part of teaching effect evaluation, and it can evaluate learners’ learning achievements and put forward reference opinions on their learning process. VPA interactive technology is mainly used in the design of teaching effect evaluation of ethnic medicine network course. Through online test and extracurricular discussion, learners can timely understand their own phased learning achievements, learning progress and existing problems, thereby adjusting their learning strategies and improving learning methods in time, to better reach the requirements of teaching objectives and achieve better learning results[3-4].

4 Material module of the network course of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty formed by introducing Guangxi minority medicine

According to the requirements of training plan and syllabus, the material module of network course is constructed. The material is divided into six modules: course teaching, teaching database, virtual model base, knowledge and classroom expansion, interactive communication platform and test evaluation[5].

4.1 Course teaching moduleThe course teaching module includes syllabus, learning guidance, multimedia courseware and other sections, and takes the unit and chapter as the main line. The navigation main page provides the unique icon of each chapter, and you could click the icon to start learning. Through comprehensive application and optimization of multimedia technology, the text, images, sounds, animation and other information will be organically combined. A large number of pictures, videos and other materials are selected to design teaching situations, and the essence of teaching materials is enriched, and the teaching capacity is expanded, to visualize abstract knowledge.

4.2 Teaching database moduleThe teaching resource database module is an extension of the course content, including rich videos, pictures and animation materials, especially the Zhuang and Yao medicine resource database in the region, which can provide learners with rich learning resources and cultivate learners’ ability to retrieve and obtain information and comprehensive ability. Among them, the video operation demonstration can be played by learners to control the operation steps, and the key and difficult steps of learning can be demonstrated and played repeatedly, giving full play to the main role of learners.

4.3 Virtual model library moduleThe virtual model library module uses the database to collect the static images or the camera to collect the dynamic images of the machinery, equipment and medicinal materials involved in the network course as the basic data resources, and applies VR technology, 3D and other technologies to process and generate the simulated virtual 3D model. Through the operation of the mouse, you can rotate the virtual model and enlarge the subtle parts of the machine and medicinal materials, which is helpful for learners to fully understand the structure. In this way, it can improve students’ perceptual knowledge and practical ability, comply with students’ cognitive laws, and provide great convenience for teachers’ teaching demonstration and students’ self-study and review after class.

4.4 Knowledge link and expansion moduleThe knowledge link and expansion module is a necessary supplement to the content of teaching materials and an extension of knowledge. It appropriately adds relevant research progress knowledge at home and abroad, and recommends relevant websites and databases for students, so that students can obtain the latest learning information at any time, and timely understand the development trend of the discipline and the theory and technology related to the course. Guangxi minority medicine culture column is specially set up as the focus of the expansion module. Teachers guide students to learn, which enhances students’ sense of identity for minority medicine and sense of mission and pride in inheriting cultural knowledge, and greatly improves students’ enthusiasm for learning.

4.5 Interaction and communication moduleAn online interactive communication platform is established, which makes the communication between teachers and students more convenient. The communication is not limited by time and place, and students can ask questions online at any time, and teachers can answer questions in time. At the same time, students can also communicate with each other. Even social people can provide answers to questions about traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy and knowledge of ethnic minorities medicine in Guangxi on the platform. Online communication platform makes learning more convenient, allows students to get more information sources, and truly realizes resource sharing. The online test column is designed, and the online test contains a large number of questions about traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy and medicine knowledge of Guangxi ethnic minorities. After opening an account, students can log in to the question bank for test at any time after successful registration. 5 Conclusions

The characteristic network course of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy formed by introducing Guangxi minority medicine adopts virtual reality technology and video synthesis technology in the process of development and design, and builds a network learning platform of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy specialty integrating practicability, functionality, interest, interaction and sharing, which is convenient for teachers to carry out heuristic and interactive teaching in the teaching process. It highlights the leading role of teachers and the main role of students in the process of network teaching, pays attention to the two-way communication and exchange between teachers and students, closely combines network teaching with classroom teaching, and makes up for these deficiencies with the help of teachers’ classroom teaching. Teachers strengthen the interaction with students in the teaching process, and vividly summarize the teaching content in combination with their own practical experience, so as to facilitate students to understand and master the teaching content, give full play to their respective advantages and achieve the best teaching effect. The online course organically combines the boring teaching content of traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacy, the content of Guangxi minority medicine and interesting games, integrates text, image, video and animation, and has rich and exquisite pictures, which has left a deep impression on the students. At the same time, students can also fully master the basic theories, basic knowledge, basic skills and professional related knowledge needed by their major through online self-study, self-test, expanding extracurricular knowledge and interactive communication.

To sum up, although it has accumulated some experience and formed some characteristics in the construction of online course of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy, there are still many problems and deficiencies, and the construction in all aspects needs to be strengthened. The construction of online courses is a systematic project, which needs to strengthen the coordination and cooperation of educational administration departments, teachers and technicians. At the same time, with the strong support and guidance of the computer information center, it should constantly improve the course website and resource database, enrich and optimize the course content, give full play to the characteristics of professional courses, and strive to build an online course more in line with the teaching needs of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy in Guangxi.
