China Tourism Day  Gift Packs from Chongqing

May 19th， the day when the first section of The Travels of Xu Xiake was written， was also designated as the China Tourism Day in 2011. Since then， the event has varied its themes every year， and multiple measures have been adopted to promote tourism for all， like rolling out free or discount tickets and affordable travel routes. The theme of the 2022 China Tourism Day is “Experience Chinese Culture and Enjoy a Beautiful Journey”.

While ensuring effective COVID-19 prevention and control and under 2022 China Tourism Day Celebrations， multiple events were held in Fengjie County. Events were co-hosted by Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development， CPC Fengjie County Committee， and Fengjie County People’s Government.

On-site events were as follows： 1） Chongqing culture and tourism gift packs were presented to representatives like model workers， medical staff， and the people who are on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19; 2） the Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism signed the strategic cooperation agreement with Fengjie County Government to jointly build the Three Gorges （Fengjie） of the Yangtze River into a new leader of cultural tourism; 3） Fengjie County introduced multiple measures to deliver benefits to the public， presenting a spectacular cultural feast to residents and tourists.

Preferential policies of the 2022 Fengjie cultural tourism consumption season （summer） included free tours to Fengjie on China Tourism Day， favored policies for Chongqing people traveling in Chongqing， Fengjie Travel Card， cross-industry sharable discounts， and favorable prices for the high-speed train. Meanwhile， tourist attractions in districts and counties introduced various measures including issuing consumption coupons and among others. Tourism enterprises offered free tickets and discounts. And some preferential measures were provided for the elderly， people with disabilities， and outstanding groups such as anti-COVID workers and model workers.

Besides， centering on the theme of the China Tourism Day this year， districts， counties， and cultural tourism enterprises prepared a host of splendid cultural activities for residents. In Dadukou District， libraries， museums， cultural centers， and art galleries were open free to the public， and cultural performance was held to spread culture to the primary level， with the theme of Celebrating the Successful Convening of the 20th CPC National Congress and 2022 Dadukou District Culture， Science， Technology and Health Serving the Public. In Beibei District， cultural centers， together with libraries， galleries， and memorial halls carried out a painting and calligraphy exhibition of Beibei Jialing Painting Academy， the series events of “Beibei District and its Friendly Cities in Sichuan Province Share One Book” and Jinyun Culture Lecture Hall. In other districts and counties such as Xiushan， Shizhu， Changshou， and Tongliang， a spectrum of cultural activities was also hosted. Altogether these activities not only created a rich festive vibe， but also truly benefited residents and tourists with practical cultural measures.

5月19日是《徐霞客游記》开篇日，也被设立为“中国旅游日”。自2011年设立以来，每年的活动主题各有不同，各地纷纷推出免费或打折门票、优惠线路等措施推动全民旅游。2022年中国旅游日活动主题为“感悟中华文化，享受美好旅程”。

在严格做好疫情防控各项措施的前提下，2022年中国旅游日重庆分会场活动在奉节县举行。本次活动由重庆市文化和旅游发展委员会和中共奉节县委、奉节县人民政府主办。

活动现场为奉节县劳模、医护人员、防疫一线等先进集体代表赠送重庆文旅惠民大礼包;市文化旅游委与奉节县政府签订共同打造长江三峡（奉节）文化旅游新高地战略合作协议;奉节县推出多项惠民措施，为广大市民游客献上精彩文旅盛宴。

2022年奉节县文化旅游惠民消费季（夏季）优惠政策包括中国旅游日免费游奉节、重庆人游重庆优惠政策、畅游奉节卡、跨行业联动优惠、高铁通车联动优惠政策等。与此同时，重庆各区县及景区结合自身实际，推出多种形式的旅游惠民措施，包括发放文化和旅游消费券，旅游企业推出免费、打折等优惠措施，旅游助老、助残措施，对抗疫工作者、劳动模范等先进群体的优惠措施等。

此外，围绕今年中国旅游日活动主题，各区县、文旅企业推出了大量精彩纷呈、好戏连台的文化惠民活动。大渡口区图书馆、博物馆、文化馆、美术馆面向公众免费开放，并开展喜迎二十大·花开文明城—大渡口区2022年文化科技卫生“三下乡”送文化进基层文艺演出等;北碚区文化馆、图书馆、美术馆、纪念馆等开展了北碚嘉陵画院五人书画展、“碚城（双城）同读一本书”系列活动及缙云文化大讲堂等;秀山、石柱、长寿、铜梁等区县举办丰富多彩的文化艺术活动，不仅营造出浓浓的节日氛围，也真正将文化惠民措施落实到市民游客的心坎上。
