3Like afternoon tea,amid the pandemic,the floating breakfast has quickly become yet another must for fine hotels.Timo Kuenzli,general manager of Koh Samui's all-pool-villa Cape Fahn Hotel,says that nearly 100% of their guests over the past year have ordered one.

4Due to the growing presence of floating breakfasts,resorts have to keep investing more to maketheir offeringstand out.The Six Senses Uluwatu in Bali serves its floating breakfasts in a red heart shaped basket.The Anantara in Koh Phangan,Thailand,has a floating “sunset sushi” feast.Cape Fahn is working on a floating afternoon tea experience.

5Are these breakfasts just made to be shared online and deserted,or do people really enjoy eating them?James Booth,a Sydney-based reporter for DMarge.com,thought that,for him,the meal worked better in concept than in reality.He realized that in a wet environment,leaving the breakfast out was maybe not ideal.He added that the coffee had a bit of pool water in it,and the bread was soggy（受潮的）.

6Regardless of various opinions on the hotel offerings,it looks like these floating meals have made their way to the table.Just remember to drink the coffee first.
