According to the results of the China Commercial Circulation Association of Textile and Apparel (CATA) show that in September 2021, the national textile and apparel specialized market manager’s prosperity index was 53.66, an increase of 3.28 percentage points from August’s 50.38; the specialized market merchant’s prosperity index was 53.03, an increase of 3.43 percentage points from August’s 49.60. In September, the prosperity index of the textile and apparel specialized market rebounded significantly, and the market entered the peak sales season.
Statistics show that in September, the overall prosperity indexes of managers and merchants in the national textile and apparel specialized market increased compared with August, and the specialized market entered the peak sales season.

In September, the proportion of the total increase in the total operation of the selected market was 54.84 percent, an increase of 29.03 percentage points from August; the proportion of the increase in the logistics shipment of the selected market was 54.84 percent, an increase of 25.81 percentage points from August; the percentage of the increase in the market passenger flow of the selected market was 64.52 percent, an increase of 45.17 percentage points from August; the total market operation index, logistics shipment, and passenger flow index increased overall, and the textile and apparel specialized market entered the peak sales season.
In September, the proportion of selected merchant’s total sales increased by 51.72 percent, an increase of 42.75 percentage points from August; the proportion of selected merchant’s profit increased by 51.03 percent, an increase of 42.06 percentage points from August; both the total sales index and profit index of merchants rose, merchants and specialized markets have entered the peak sales season simultaneously.
Data shows that in terms of managers, the next manager’s prosperity index is 54.52, an increase of 1.29 percentage points from August’s 53.23; the next operating environment index is 53.87, an increase of 0.64 percentage points from August’s 53.23. In terms of merchants, the next merchant’s prosperity index is 54.83, an increase of 0.07 percentage points from 54.76 in August; the next merchant’s prosperity index is 54.62, 0.14 percentage points lower than that of 54.76 in August. In terms of predictive indexes, the traditional peak season for the textile and apparel specialized market in October will continue, and the four predictive indexes will generally improve steadily.
