Academic Symposium on the Study of Hongyan Spirit and Chinese Revolutionary Spirit held in Chongqing

9月25日，红岩精神与中国革命精神研究学术研讨会在西南大学举行，来自湖南、山东、广东等地的多位学者与重庆本地专家学者一起，围绕新时代如何传承和弘扬红岩精神进行了深入探讨。本次研讨会以习近平总书记关于红岩精神系列重要论述为根本遵循，深入探讨了红岩精神的研究视角、实践主体、内涵特征，深化了对红岩精神内涵及特征的认识;将红岩精神置于中国共产党精神谱系中，从时代背景、理论基础、历史使命等方面进行了全方位、多角度的比较研究;从汲取强大精神力量走好新的赶考之路的角度，对新时代传承和弘扬红岩精神进行了深入探讨。

On September 25， Academic Symposium on the Study of Hongyan Spirit and Chinese Revolutionary Spirit was held at Southwest University. Multiple scholars from Hunan， Shandong， Guangdong， etc. had an in-depth discussion on how to inherit and carry forward Hongyan spirit in a new era jointly with local experts and scholars in Chongqing. Based on General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statement on Hongyan spirit， the Symposium thoroughly discussed the research perspective， practice subject and connotation characteristics of Hongyan spirit， deepened the understanding of the connotation and characteristics of Hongyan spirit， placed Hongyan spirit in the ideological ancestry of the Communist Party of China， and performed an all-round and multi-angle comparative study from the aspects of epoch background， theoretical basis and historical mission; and made an in-depth discussion on inheriting and carrying forward the Hongyan spirit in a new era from the perspective of absorbing vital spiritual strength and pursuing a new path.

Sichuan and Chongqing work together to build a leading service system for the global logistic and trade Industry

9月18日，重庆对外经贸集团与四川省港航投资集团在“双城双碳双循环—中国首席经济学家高峰论坛”上，正式签订双城国际物贸一体化战略框架协议，双方将在多个领域深入合作，充分发挥国有经济战略支撑作用，共同打造全球物贸产业领先企业、服务体系。根据协议，上述合作双方將立足川渝及西部地区经济产业特点，围绕国际国内贸易、现代物流、跨境电商、供应链信息技术、供应链金融、工程物流等领域全面合作，合力打造西部物贸龙头企业、共建专业物流服务体系、合力构建数字化物贸产业链、合作布局物贸衍生产业以及在工程领域展开全面深度合作。

On September 18， Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation （Group） Ltd. and Sichuan Port and Shipping officially signed the Strategic Framework Agreement on the Integration of International Logistics and Trade in two cities at the "Twin Cities， Carbon Neutrality and Dual Circulation Economy- China Chief Economist Forum". The two sides will cooperate in many fields， give full play to the strategic support role of state-owned economy， and jointly build a leading enterprise and service system in the global logistics and trade industry.According to the agreement， based on the economic and industrial characteristics of Sichuan， Chongqing and the Western region， the above-mentioned cooperation parties will comprehensively cooperate in the fields of international and domestic trade， modern logistics， cross-border e-commerce， supply chain information technology， supply chain finance and engineering logistics， synergize a western logistics and trade pacesetter， jointly build a specialized logistics service system and a digital logistics and trade industrial chain and collaborate in the deployment of logistics and trade derivative industries and carry out all-around and in-depth cooperation in the engineering field.

1-8月重庆进出口总值超5000亿元

From January to August， the total import and export value of Chongqing exceeds 500 billion yuan

9月18日，重庆海关发布消息，今年前8个月，重庆外贸进出口总值5076.8亿元人民币，同比增长29.4%，高于同期全国整体增速5.7个百分点。这是自2020年4月以来，重庆外贸连续17个月保持增长。今年前8个月，重庆外贸出口3200.8亿元，同比增长28.9%;进口1876亿元，增长30.1%。其中，8月当月，重庆外贸进出口总值651.6亿元，增长16%。据统计，前8个月，重庆对东盟、欧盟、美国进出口804.3亿元、802.4亿元、752亿元，分别增长15.2%、25.1%、21%，合计占同期重庆外贸总值的46.5%。

On September 18， Chongqing Customs District announced that in the first eight months of this year， Chongqing's foreign trade import and export value totalled 507.68 billion yuan， a year-on-year increase of 29.4%， 5.7 percentage points higher than the national overall growth rate in the same period. Since April 2020， Chongqing's foreign trade has maintained growth for 17 consecutive months.In the first eight months of this year， Chongqing's foreign trade export stood at 320.08 billion yuan， a year-on-year increase of 28.9%; import reached 187.6 billion yuan， an increase of 30.1%. In August， Chongqing's total import and export value amounted to 65.16 billion yuan， up by 16%. According to statistic， in the first eight months， Chongqing's import and export to ASEAN， EU and the United States amounted to 80.43 billion yuan， 80.24 billion yuan and 75.2 billion yuan， an increase of 15.2%， 25.1% and 21% respectively， accounting for 46.5% of Chongqing's total foreign trade value in the same period.

第十八屆中国西部国际博览会重庆揽金110亿元

Chongqing hails a contracted value of 11 billion yuan in the 18th Western China International Fair

9月16日，第十八届中国西部国际博览会在四川成都举行。本届博览会以“中国新时代·西部新机遇”为主题，来自66个国家（地区）的嘉宾客商逾5万人通过线上线下相结合的形式参加展会。重庆在本次博览会上设立重庆城市形象馆、成渝双城经济圈合作馆，并参加第十一届中国西部投资说明会暨经济合作项目签约，以及2021中国西部会展业发展高峰会等专项论坛，有关市级部门、区县（园区、平台）和参展企业将广泛开展经贸对接活动。当天，重庆市签约了朝航装配式建筑制造、川渝高竹新区科技创新基地、万州新田港二期等3个重点项目，签约金额达110亿元。

On September 16， the 18th Western China International Fair was held in Chengdu， Sichuan Province. The theme of this Fair is "New Era of China · New Opportunities for Western China". More than 50，000 guests and merchants from 66 countries （regions） participated in the Fair via online and offline forms. Chongqing set up Chongqing City Image Pavilion and Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Cooperation Pavilion at the Fair， and participated in the 11th Western China Investment Promotion Fair & Contract Signing Ceremony of Economic Cooperation Projects， as well as special forums such as 2021 Western China Conference & Exhibition Industry Development Summit. Relevant municipal departments， districts and counties （parks， platforms） and participating enterprises carried out economic and trade docking activities in an extensive manner. On the same day， Chongqing signed three key projects， including Zhaohang prefabricated building manufacturing， Sichuan-Chongqing Gaozhu New Area Scientific and Technological Innovation Base and Wanzhou Xintian Port Phase II， with a signed amount of 11 billion yuan.

重庆跨境公路班车开通至越南新通道

Chongqing cross-border highway shuttle lorry opens a new channel to Vietnam

9月10日，重庆跨境公路班车联动广西龙邦口岸，正式开通至越南新通道。此次开通的新通道，从重庆南彭公路保税物流中心（B型）出发，通过广西龙邦口岸出境，最终抵达越南兴安。该运输线路全长约1400公里，全程公路运输用时约48小时。

本次龙邦口岸新通道的开通，是内陆开放高地与沿边口岸之间由点连线的合作，能够进一步增强重庆与东盟国家的点对点运输，保证货物安全、及时到达目的地。

On September 10， Chongqing cross-border highway shuttle lorry joined with Guangxi Longbang Port and officially opened a new channel to Vietnam. The new channel opened this time starts from Chongqing Nanpeng Highway Bonded Logistics Center （Type B）， exits the country through Longbang Port in Guangxi， and finally arrives in T?nh H?ng Yên， Vietnam. The total length of the transport line stretches about 1，400km， and the whole road transport takes about 48 hours.

The new channel opening of Longbang Port is a point-to-line partnership between the inland opening-up high ground and the border ports， and can further enhance the point-to-point transport between Chongqing and ASEAN countries and ensure the safe and timely arrival of logistics at the destination.

國庆假期重庆接待游客1273万人次

Chongqing receives 12.73 million tourists during the National Day holiday

10月8日，市文旅委消息，今年国庆节期间，重庆推出景区景点350余个、旅游线路180余条，策划举办系列节庆活动以及实施门票优惠措施，满足和服务广大游客观光游览、休闲度假、游乐体验等多元化需求。全市A级旅游景区累计接待游客1273万人次，按可比口径较2020年增长31.2%。其中，都市旅游热度最高。洪崖洞民俗风貌区接待游客51万人次，磁器口景区接待游客45.2万人次，重庆动物园接待游客23.5万人次。

On October 8， Chongqing Municipal Development Committee of Culture and Tourism reported that during this year's National Day holiday， Chongqing launched more than 350 scenic spots and attractions and over 180 tourist routes， curated and held a series of festival activities and implemented ticket preferential measures to meet and serve the diversified needs of tourists such as sightseeing， leisure and holiday-making and amusement experience. The city's A-level scenic spots have ushered in 12.73 million tourists， an increase of 31.2% over 2020 according to comparable standards. Among them， urban tourism is the most popular. Hongyadong folk custom area saw 510，000 tourists， Ciqikou scenic area received 452，000 tourists， and Chongqing Zoo welcomed 235，000 tourists.

重庆十八梯传统风貌区开街

Chongqing Shibajie traditional district makes a refreshed impression

9月30日，历时近5年，经过城市更新改造后的十八梯传统风貌区，以全新的面貌亮相。延续了十八梯原有的“七街六巷”街巷格局和肌理，老街的堡坎、陡坡等都在原位置、原高度、原尺度。为保护好十八梯原有的青石板路，建设者先后3次在青石板路上安装更换塑料板加强保护，建筑材料也由人工手提肩扛代替车辆运输，避免损坏梯坎。

保留至今的老街巷、老建筑、老字号、老手艺，承载着山城的历史记忆和城市文化，见证了重庆城市有机更新的发展变迁。十八梯传统风貌区将成为山城城市会客厅、城市文化新名片。

On September 30， after nearly five years of urban renewal and transformation， Shibati traditional district made a refreshed impression. It continues the original "seven streets and six lanes” layout and fabric while the sills and steep slopes of the old streets are preserved in the original position， height and scale. In order to well preserve the original stone-slabbed path of Shibati， the builders have installed and replaced plastic plates on the slabbed road for three times to reinforce protection. Building materials were also carried by hand and shoulder instead of vehicles to avoid damaging the sills.

The old streets and alleys， old buildings， time-honored brands and old crafts preserved so far bear the historical memory and urban culture of the mountainous city and witness the development and evolution of the organic renewal of Chongqing. Shibati traditional district will become a new business card of the mountainous city's reception hall and  urban culture.
