I am Jim in Shanghai. Im studying Chinese in a school. I am in a restaurant with my Chinese friends now. The restaurant is big and there are 40 tables in it. I order a bowl of beef soup, mapo tofu and some potatoes. Theyre only 50 yuan. Li Lin orders the mutton noodles and some carrot dumplings. Zhang Cheng orders tomatoes and fruit salad. Liu Hai wants cabbages and Beijing Duck. There are many different foods on the table. They ask me to taste every kind of food. I want to order Chinese dumplings next time. In London, my family dont eat them. We always eat hamburgers, sandwiches, fish and chips.
I find Chinese food are really delicious. Im having a good time eating in the restaurant. But I cant use chopsticks well. I can use a fork and a knife well. The noodles are too long and I cant eat them well with my knife and fork. Li Lin says I will use chopsticks well if I often eat with them. Is he right?
