Peoples Tribune
Issue 13, 2021
Globalization is a glorious part in the history of human development. Started at the economic level, it has gradually expanded to various fields, such as politics, culture, society, and the environment, with expanded breadth and depth. From the beginning, it has profoundly changed humanitys development.
With the in-depth development of globalization, all countries have become tightly interknit. Meanwhile, it has also posed challenges and generated problems which threaten human life and development. This tells people that regardless of the differences in each countrys size, power, ideology, and social system, every country holds equal right to participate in global governance and actively share its own experiences and solutions to build a more just and reasonable international order. The trend of globalization, which has gone on for more than five centuries, is unstoppable. All countries should continue working together to build a better future.
Restarting from the Old Revolutionary Base Areas

Issue 11, 2021
The Communist Party of China (CPC) has always strived for the wellbeing of the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Giving birth to Chinas revolution, the old revolutionary base areas offered the initial strength for the CPC to fulfill its founding mission.
“People in the old revolutionary base areas have made great sacrifices and contributions to the cause of the Party and the Chinese people. We should protect the areas and take good care of the descendants of the martyrs,” said Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, at the meeting for launching the campaign of Party history learning and education among all Party members on February 20.
By reminiscing over the memory of the old revolutionary areas, Party members will be able to remember the history and original aspirations of the Party. By reviewing the great history of the Party and observing the century-long path toward fulfilling the Partys founding mission, Party members will pass on the traditions of revolution to reach a better future.
Searching for the Bronze Age
Lifeweek
Issue 23, 2021
Two types of wine ware, zun and lei, are found most among the bronze artifacts excavated from the Sanxingdui ruins site. Because of their existence, people believe that there was communication between the ancient Shu state and the Shang Dynasty (around 1600 -1046 BC) in the north of the Yangtze River.
In addition to Sanxingdui, there is another clue indicating the bronze civilization along the Yangtze River during the Shang Dynasty. Many bronze artifacts excavated from the south of the Yangtze River have provided an important source to trace that period of history.
Among all the excavated bronze artifacts, zun and lei are the connections of each area along the Yangtze River. There are a large number of zun and lei artifacts among unearthed cultural relics from the late Shang Dynasty in the south of the Yangtze River. Their shape, decoration, and cast are quite similar to those from the Central Plains area of China during the Shang Dynasty. Therefore, zun and lei items are the keys to exploring the bronze civilization of the Shang Dynasty.

The Yangtze River, the most central river of the Chinese nation, is an important water source, ecological treasure, and unique waterway in China, which has supported the development of the nation since its beginning.
In the last five years, three symposiums have been held to draw up a grand blueprint for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. It has provided a refined design and clearer strategy for the protection and development of the mother river.
The Yangtze River Economic Belt covers 11 provinces along the river in Chinas eastern, central, and western areas with almost half of the countrys total population and economic volume. Over the last five years, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, the provinces along the river have improved the ecological environment, promoted economic green transformation, and achieved historic results in their development.
The Yangtze River Economic Belt now is spearheading the national drive of green development, the promotion of “dual circulation,” and high-quality economic growth.
