Announcement Editorial Committee of Journal of Palaeogeography

The selection work of excellent papers published in 2012-2018 in Journal of Palaeogeography has been finished successfully. From beginning to end, this selection work was led and supported by Editorial Committee of Journal of Palaeogeography.

21 authors won prize, i.e., one author won the special prize, 3 authors won the first prize, 15 authors won the second prize and 2 authors won young authors’ prize (Table 1) .

In the 21 winners, 11 winners are from outside of China and 10 winners from China.

The award for the special prize is 30,000 RMB, for the first prize is 20,000 RMB, and for the second prize and young authors’ prize are 10,000 RMB.

The certificates will be distributed at the 5thInternational Conference of Palaeogeography which will be held in October 16-18, 2021, at Yangtze University, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China .

This is really an important event for JoP.

The selection work of excellent papers published in JoP will be continuously conducted.

We hope that this event will promote Journal of Palaeogeography, and attract more high-quality papers worldwide and thus develop Journal of Palaeogeography into one of the leading international geological periodicals.

Let us strive together to make greater contributions to international palaeogeography and geology.
