Sports meetings are also popular in Britain. We call this day Sports Day. It is full of exciting events， like the 100m and relay（接力） race.

But we also have funny events， such as the beanbag（裝豆的袋） throw and egg-and-spoon race！ Kids run 100 meters. But they have to hold a spoon with a boiled（煮熟的） egg. If the egg falls from the spoon， pick it up quickly. Then carry on（继续） running. It is much harder than it sounds.
