I. Virus recognizes neither borders nor nationality. Mankind is a community with a shared future, only in the spirit of solidarity and collaboration, can the international community defeat the pandemic

I always stress that mankind is a community with a shared future, to prevail over a disease that threatens all, unity and cooperation is the most powerful weapon. The Gates Foundation has been quick in joining the global action and has played an active role in the global response against the outbreak. I support your cooperation with relevant Chinese institutions, and look forward to enhanced coordination and concerted efforts in the international community for the sake of health and well-being of all.

Public health security is a common challenge facing mankind, which needs to be addressed by all countries collaboratively. It is necessary to continue to maintain good communication with the WHO, share experience in epidemic prevention with relevant countries, strengthen international cooperation in research and development of antiviral drugs and vaccines, and provide assistance to other countries and regions with epidemic spread within its capacity, reflecting the responsibility of a responsible country.

The outbreak is a fresh reminder that mankind rise and fall together. Major emergencies like the COVID-19 outbreak won't be the last one in an era of economic globalization, and mankind will continue to be tested by various traditional and non-traditional security challenges. It is imperative for all in the world to recognize that mankind has a shared future, must therefore look out for each other and marshal a collective response to global challenges, and that we must make the planet – our only home – a better place for all.

Mankind is a community with a shared future. In the spirit of solidarity, China is ready to work with Italy to contribute to international cooperation on epidemic control. So long as China and Italy will remain as dedicated as ever in the fight against the epidemic, we will strive to defeat the disease at an early date and provide a source of confidence to other countries in controlling the epidemic and to jointly safeguard the health of people of the two countries and those of other countries in the world.

The outbreak of the COVID-19 recently in many countries around the world has once again demonstrated that mankind is a community with a shared future. All countries must unite, cooperate and respond together. China based on the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind will work with other countries to strengthen international cooperation in epidemic prevention, work hand in hand to cope with common threats and challenges, and safeguard global public health security.

Viruses respect no borders and epidemics do not distinguish between races. This global public health emergency has driven home the urgency and imperative of building a community with a shared future for mankind. Only with solidarity and cooperation can the international community prevail over the epidemic and protect our common home. China will work with Kazakhstan and other countries to strengthen international cooperation against the epidemic and safeguard global public health security.

The virus respects no borders and presents a common challenge to mankind. No country can wall itself off from its impact. China has stood together with Germany and with Europe in this fight. Together, we have demonstrated to the world the power of solidarity and generated positive energy

This outbreak once again reminds us that humanity is a community with a shared future. It is imperative for the international community to stand together and look out for each other to triumph over the outbreak. China will continue to work with the WHO and other countries and contribute our part to safeguarding global public health security.

The infectious diseases are the common enemy of mankind and recognize no border or race. To win the fight against them, the international community must come together. Thanks to the joint efforts of all relevant parties, the Extraordinary G20 Leaders’ Summit yesterday produced a lot of consensus and positive results. China hopes that with stronger coordination and cooperation, the parties will deliver the outcomes of the Extraordinary Summit and inject a strong impetus into international anti-epidemic cooperation and efforts to stabilize the global economy.

The outbreak once again drives home the importance and urgency of building a community with a shared future for mankind. The Extraordinary G20 Leaders' Summit on COVID-19 sent a positive message of solidarity in combating the virus and keeping the world economy stable. China will continue to work with Laos and the wider international community for an early victory against the pandemic.

II. Upholding the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, with openness, transparency and responsible attitude, the Chinese government shares its experience in preventing and controlling the epidemic as well as clinical treatment with the WHO and the international community, staunchly safeguard the life and health security of the Chinese people and peoples of the world.

Since the outbreak of novel coronavirus, China has adopted strict measures to prevent and control the disease, timely release relevant information on epidemic prevention and control, and inform the WHO and relevant countries and regions in a timely manner. China is ready to work with the international community to effectively respond to the epidemic and safeguard global health and safety.

The international community attaches great importance to the development of the epidemic situation. It is necessary to actively respond to international concerns, tell a real story about China's fight against the epidemic, and show the spirit of Chinese people's unity and solidarity in the same boat. We should do a good job in the diplomatic work related to epidemic prevention and control, likewise, continue to do a good job in communication and coordination with the WHO and relevant countries and regions, promote the sharing of epidemic information and coordination of prevention and control strategies, and strive for the understanding and support of the international community.

With a strong sense of responsibility toward its own citizens and the international community, the CPC and the Chinese government have taken the most thorough and rigorous measures possible to fight the epidemic. These efforts are producing results. As a nation that has been through many trials and tribulations, China has full confidence, capability and determination to win the battle against the epidemic. China will work more closely with Cambodia and other countries in the spirit of openness and transparency to respond collectively and effectively to the epidemic and uphold public health security in the region and beyond. China will take good care of all Cambodian nationals including students in China like its own, and protect their life and health.

Committed to the concept of a community of a shared future for mankind, we are not only responsible for the safety and health of our own people, but also responsible for global public health security. China will continue to strengthen prevention and control cooperation with other countries, including Indonesia, in an open and transparent manner to safeguard regional and global public health security. We will continuously take good care of Indonesians and citizens of other countries in China as we look after our own citizens.

Guided by the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind, China is acting with a sense of responsibility not only for the life and health of its own people, but also for global public health. China's tremendous efforts have effectively curbed the spread of the epidemic to other parts of the world. China will continue to cooperate with the UK and the rest of the international community in a spirit of openness and transparency.

After outbreak of the epidemic, I put forward the general requirements of consolidating confidence, helping each other in the same boat, carrying out scientific prevention and control, and precisely implementing the policies. We have made great achievements in the prevention and control of the epidemic with the strength of the whole country and adopted a series of unprecedented prevention and treatment measures. We firmly safeguard the life safety and health of the Chinese people, as well as the lives and health of the people of all countries in the world, and strive to contribute to global public health security.

China's response is guided by the recognition that mankind is a community of shared destiny. To limit the further spread of the virus, the Chinese side has acted in an open, transparent and responsible manner to share timely information with the WHO and the global community, actively respond to various concerns, and seek cooperation with the rest of the world. China has also taken strong and effective measures to protect the health and safety of Cuban and other foreign nationals in China. Our efforts are recognized by the WHO and the international community. China will continue to work with Cuba in health, medicine and epidemic prevention and control.

Solidarity is power. Under the current circumstances, China's strong support for Europe's fight against the virus and China's readiness to provide assistances help Europe ensure an early victory. Guided by a vision of a community with a shared future for mankind, China will step up coordination and cooperation with Europe in bilateral and international contexts to jointly safeguard regional and global public health security and to protect the lives, safety and health of people in both sides and beyond.

As the epidemic is breaking out in many countries around the world, it is high time that all countries respond with solidarity and cooperation. Bearing in mind that all countries are in a community with a shared future, China has acted in an open, transparent and responsible manner to provide timely information on the epidemic and share experience on containment, diagnosis and treatment. China is ready to contribute more to curbing the spread of the epidemic globally and will continue to provide support and assistance to Pakistan.

Through hard work of the whole country, China's prevention and control measures have achieved positive results and have stepped out of the most difficult and arduous stage. China is ready to carry out international cooperation with other countries and provide assistance within its capacity. It is hoped that the international community will work together to turn the crisis into an opportunity, resist the impact of the epidemic with practical actions of openness and cooperation, and jointly safeguard international health and safety.

The ferocious outbreak of COVID-19 has prompted China to rise to the challenges against all odds, because at stake are not only the lives, health and safety of the Chinese people but also global public health security. In the face of public health emergencies, a common challenge to humanity, the most powerful weapon we have is solidarity and cooperation. Recently, the epidemic broke out in many places all over the world and spread rapidly. It is urgent for all countries to strengthen cooperation. China has always adhered to the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind. In an open, transparent and responsible manner, China has released epidemic information in a timely manner, unreservedly shared experience in prevention, control and treatment with the WHO and the international community, and has made every effort to provide assistance to all parties.

We should uphold the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, actively cooperate with relevant countries and international organizations, share China's mature practices in epidemic prevention and treatment, and take practical actions to safeguard global public health security. We should promote joint research to tackle key problems and strive to make breakthroughs in virus traceability, transmission mechanism research, vaccine and drug research and development as soon as possible.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak began, the Chinese side has acted in an open, transparent and responsible manner and provided timely updates on the epidemic to the WHO and relevant countries including the United States. China has released the genome sequencing of the virus at the earliest opportunity. China is sharing control and treatment experience without reservation and doing its best to support and help countries in need. China will continue to do so and work with the international community to defeat the epidemic.

China upholds the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind and comprehensively strengthens international cooperation. At the Extraordinary G20 Leaders Summit on novel coronavirus pneumonia recently, I made recommendations on international cooperation in fighting the virus and stabilizing the world economy. On the basis of consolidating the achievements in epidemic prevention and control, China will step up the resumption of work and production across the country, overcome difficulties, give priority to the restoration and improvement of the production capacity of medical and epidemic prevention products, and strictly implement quality supervision measures to provide as much logistics support as possible for the global anti-epidemic.

III. Solidarity through thick and thin, China appreciates the invaluable understanding and support from the international community, such expressions of friendship will always be remembered and cherished by the Chinese people. China will continue to do what it can to help and support the international community's epidemic response.

As the government and people of China are battling the novel coronavirus outbreak, Cambodia has shown that a friend in need is a friend indeed. At this trying time, the Cambodian people are standing with the Chinese people. King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk have offered sympathies and support. Prime Minister Hun Sen not only has spoken up for China on multiple occasions, but also is visiting China today. All this is testament to the unbreakable friendship and deep trust between the two countries. It also demonstrates solidarity through thick and thin, a defining feature of the China-Cambodia community with a shared future.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Indonesia and other neighbors of China have provided valuable support in various ways. This is a testament to great solidarity between neighbors in trying times. China will work more closely with Indonesia and other countries to contain the epidemic in the spirit of openness and transparency and safeguard regional and global public health security.

China appreciates the invaluable understanding and support from the international community, especially Malaysia and other friendly neighbors, whose governments and people have reached out to China and provided timely help. This is a vivid example of solidarity among the countries in our region. China will work more closely with Malaysia and all other ASEAN countries to curb the epidemic in the spirit of openness and transparency and uphold public health security in this region. China will continue to take good care of Malaysians and all other foreign nationals in China like its own

Trying times reveal true friendship. China is not only protecting the lives and health of its own people, but also showing a strong sense of responsibility for global public health security. While we mainly rely on our own people to fight the epidemic, we appreciate the assistance from the international community. China has been working with France and other countries in an open and transparent manner to deal with the epidemic. China hopes to strengthen cooperation with France in the field of health and work together to ensure public health security at regional and international levels.

We deeply appreciate the expression of sympathies and massive assistance and support coming from the government and various communities of the ROK since the outbreak of COVID-19. China will continue to keep up communication and cooperation with the ROK and other countries in an open and transparent manner so as to jointly combat the epidemic and promote the health and well-being of people around the world.

China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners with a fine tradition of mutual assistance. Since the COVID-19 outbreak began, Pakistan immediately spoke out in support of China, donated precious supplies despite of needs at home, and maintained all normal exchanges between the two countries. The National Assembly and Senate of Pakistan have both passed resolutions extending full support for China's battle against the epidemic. This phone call is another example of sympathy and solidarity. All these show that China and Pakistan are true friends that stand by each other through thick and thin and good friends that share weal and woe. We will take good care of Pakistani brothers and sisters in China the same way we look after our own citizens.

As the Chinese government and people are making all-out efforts to fight the COVID-19 epidemic, we have received valuable support and assistance from the Mongolian government and people. President Battulga is the first head of state to visit China after the outbreak. This special visit, which is a manifestation of solidarity and support, speaks volumes of the high importance the President and the Mongolian side attach to relations with China and of the profound goodwill toward the Chinese people. The kind gesture fully demonstrates the spirit of mutual assistance in difficult times shared between China and Mongolia as neighbors and I appreciate that.

China and the ROK are friendly neighbors who help each other in times of difficulty. The ROK government and people from all sectors have extended sympathies and provided substantial assistance to China's epidemic response, with President Moon Jae-in emphasizing in particular that China's difficulties are the ROK's difficulties. Confronted by an epidemic that knows no borders, countries around the world stand to win or lose as a community with a shared future. The Chinese government and people feel keenly for the ROK in the ongoing epidemic and hardship. China will continue to do what it can to help and support the ROK's epidemic response, and will work with the ROK to defeat the epidemic as soon as possible and protect the lives, safety and health of people in both countries and beyond.

The comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and the longstanding friendship between the two peoples are demonstrated. While the Iranian government and people have provided sincere support and assistance for China's epidemic response, China has also sent medical supplies and an expert team to Iran in support of its fight against the virus. China is ready to work more closely with Iran over the epidemic and provide further help where it can, and I have confidence in the ability of the Iranian government and people to ultimately defeat the disease.

Having underscored the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Serbia, and the ever-stronger ironclad friendship between the two nations, we deeply appreciate the concrete and strong support the Serbian government and people have extended to China in its all-out battle against the epidemic. In firm support of Serbia's fight against the virus, China will provide assistance of protective gears and medical equipment to Serbia and facilitate its purchase of needed supplies from China. China will also send a medical expert team to Serbia to help achieve more effective containment and protect people's health and well-being.

The sympathy and support the Polish government and people from all sectors extended to China since the COVID-19 outbreak are deeply appreciated by the Chinese people. In the spirit of "true friendship stands the test of adversity", China firmly supports the government and people of Poland in their battle against the outbreak. At a recent video conference of health experts from China and 17 Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, Poland included, China shared epidemic-related information and response measures in a timely manner. Guided by the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind, China will strengthen cooperation with Poland and the wider world to beat the virus and safeguard global public health security.

The German government and people of various sectors recently offered sympathies to China and provided support to its epidemic control efforts through various means. In the same spirit, China firmly supports Germany's fight against the outbreak and stands ready to assist, if needed, to the best of its capacity. In the face of public health emergencies, a common challenge to humanity, the most powerful weapon we have is solidarity and cooperation. Believing that we mankind are in a community with a shared future, China will continue to share information and experience with Germany, and strengthen cooperation on containment, treatment and vaccines in the interest of the health and well-being of people in both countries and beyond.

The WHO's vigorous efforts in promoting international cooperation against COVID-19 under the leadership of Dr. Tedros have been widely recognized by the international community. China will continue to lend firm support to his personal and WHO's active role in leading the international cooperation against the outbreak. China has all along been an enthusiastic supporter to the global fight against the outbreak. China has given assistance to more than 80 countries and international organizations including WHO, and will continue to support the global endeavor to the best of its ability.

At the most difficult moment in our fight against the outbreak, China received assistance and help from a lot of members of the global community. Such expressions of friendship will always be remembered and cherished by the Chinese people.

I am monitoring closely and following with concern the outbreak in the United States and noted the string of measures taken by President Trump in response. It is the sincere hope of the Chinese people that the United States will contain the spread of COVID-19 at an early date and reduce its impact on the American people. China has been keen on international cooperation against the epidemic. The current situation requires solidarity and cooperation between China and the United States. The two countries’ health authorities and epidemic experts have been in touch on the evolvement of COVID-19 globally as well as bilateral cooperation on control and treatment. The Chinese side will continue to share information and experience with the United States without reservation. Chinese provinces, cities and businesses are sending medical supplies to the United States. China appreciates the current difficulties the United States faces up and is willing to help as its ability permits. There are still a large number of Chinese citizens including students in the United States. The Chinese government attaches great importance to their life and health. It is hoped that the U.S. side will take solid and effective steps to look after them and ensure their safety and well-being.

China is grateful for the King’s earlier message of sympathy and support and the many shipments of supplies from the Saudi government and society since the onset of the outbreak. China is determined to reciprocate the generosity and goodwill. Now that Saudi Arabia is battling the COVID-19 outbreak, China will do its best to help. China has offered to share epidemic control experience and facilitate the procurement of medical supplies so as to better protect the life and health of the two peoples and safeguard public health security in the world and their respective regions.

China will always remember the invaluable support it received from African countries at the most demanding stage of its outbreak response, and expressed solicitude for the epidemic situation in Africa. Despite its own hardships, China has been actively providing help to the African Union and African countries, sending medical supplies and organizing expert experience-sharing sessions via video link. Chinese companies and non-governmental institutions are also keen to help African countries. Such mutual support is a vivid embodiment of the China-Africa community with a shared future. China will do more to help Namibia and other African countries fight the disease through experience-sharing and closer health cooperation in a bid to prevail over the outbreak together. China expressed its confidence in the further deepening of China's friendship with Namibia and other African countries through this joint fight

IV. Public health security is the common challenge for the mankind, and major infectious disease is the enemy of all, which need all countries to work together, and to strengthen international cooperation, so as to gather synergy to defeat the pandemic.

Hailing the WHO's important role in coordinating global public health affairs, China attaches great importance to the cooperation with the WHO. The WHO is welcome to participate in the epidemic containment, and WHO experts have visited Wuhan in central China where the virus first broke out. China is ready to work with the WHO as well as the international community to safeguard regional and global public health security. It is believed that the WHO and the international community will assess the epidemic situation in an objective, just, calm and reasonable way.

Public health security is a common challenge facing mankind, which needs to be addressed by all countries hand in hand. Presently, the novel coronavirus cases are confirmed in many countries. We need to strengthen communication with the WHO, and cooperate with relevant countries, especially hard-hit countries, on scientific research in the sources-tracing, drugs, vaccines and testing development, and sharing data and information under the premise of ensuring national security. We should jointly make study and propose strategies to contribute wisdom and strength to building a community with a shared future for human kind.

Having concerns over recent outbreaks in multiple places and countries, China calls for swift international coordination and a strong global response. China is prepared to share experience with other countries and conduct joint research and development of drugs and vaccines. In fact, China is actively helping countries that are battling the spread of the disease. China expresses support for the efforts of the UN and the WHO to step up policy coordination, mobilize more resources and, in particular, help developing countries with weak public health systems to strengthen prevention and preparedness. Particularly, China has announced a 20 million US dollars donation to the WHO to bolster its good work around the world.

It is necessary to strengthen international cooperation in epidemic prevention and control, work closely with the World Health Organization, strengthen the analysis and prediction of global epidemic changes, improve the prevention and control strategies and policies for dealing with imported risks, enhance exchanges and cooperation with relevant countries on epidemic prevention and control, and continuously provide assistance within our ability. It is necessary to strengthen guidance and support for the prevention and control of epidemic situation for Chinese citizens abroad, perform well in various work, and protect their life safety and health.

Both China and France shoulder the heavy responsibility of upholding regional and international public health security, and must work closely to advance joint research, enhance cooperation on health quarantine at borders, support the work of the WHO, and help African countries enhance preparedness and response, all of which will contribute to building a community of public health. China is ready to work with France for greater coordination and cooperation in the UN, the G20 and other frameworks to promote joint prevention and control and improve global health governance. China stresses the necessity to help developing countries and other countries in need to build capacity and to counteract the impact on the global economy. Cooperation is like sunshine that can drive away the dark clouds of the epidemic.

The viruses know no borders or races and the only way to defeat them is for mankind to work together. It is imperative that countries enhance cooperation under the frameworks of the United Nations and the G20, and make greater efforts in sharing information and experience, collaborating on scientific research, supporting the WHO in playing its due role and improving global health governance. Countries must also step up coordination on macro-economic policies to ensure market stability, economic growth and people's livelihood and keep the global supply chains open, stable and secure. It is believed that when the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us, China and the UK will enjoy deeper mutual understanding, more extensive consensus and broader prospects for bilateral cooperation.

As comprehensive strategic partners, China and Brazil need to maintain strategic commitment, support each other on their core interests and major concerns, and jointly send to the international community a message of solidarity and a positive signal that we are in this battle together. It is also important for the two countries to enhance practical cooperation in various fields, and step up communication and coordination within multilateral frameworks such as the G20 and BRICS, with a view to ensuring the sound growth of China-Brazil comprehensive strategic partnership. I have the confidence that the two countries will ultimately defeat the virus hand in hand and elevate bilateral cooperation on all fronts to a higher level.

Major infectious disease is the enemy of all. As we speak, the COVID-19 outbreak is spreading worldwide, posing enormous threat to life and health and bringing formidable challenge to global public health security. The situation is disturbing and unsettling. At such a moment, it is imperative for the international community to strengthen confidence, act with unity and work together in a collective response. We must comprehensively step up international cooperation and foster greater synergy so that humanity as one could win the battle against such a major infectious disease.

For that to happen, I would like to put forth four proposals.

First, we need to be resolute in fighting an all-out global war against the COVID-19 outbreak. The community of nations must move swiftly to stem the spread of the virus. In this regard, I propose that a G20 health ministers' meeting be convened as quick as possible to improve information sharing, strengthen cooperation on drugs, vaccines and epidemic control, and cut off cross-border infections. G20 members need to jointly help developing countries with weak public health systems enhance preparedness and response. I propose a G20 COVID-19 assistance initiative for better information sharing and policy and action coordination with the support of the World Health Organization. Guided by the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind, China will be more than ready to share our good practices, conduct joint research and development of drugs and vaccines, and provide assistance to countries hit by the growing outbreak.

Second, we need to make a collective response for control and treatment at the international level. This is a virus that respects no borders. The pandemic we are battling is our common enemy. All must work together to build a strongest global network of control and treatment that the world has ever seen. China has set up its online COVID-19 knowledge center that is open to all countries. It is imperative that countries pool their strengths and speed up research and development of drugs, vaccines and testing capabilities in the hope to achieve early breakthrough to the benefit of all. Discussions are also needed regarding the establishment of regional emergency liaison mechanisms to enable quicker response to public health emergencies.

Third, we need to support international organizations in playing their active roles. China supports the WHO in leading the global efforts to develop science-based and proper control and treatment and minimizes cross-border spread. I call on G20 members to enhance anti-epidemic information sharing with the support of the WHO and to promote control and treatment protocols that are comprehensive, systematic and effective. The G20 platform for communication and coordination may be used to increase policy dialogue and exchange, and a high-level meeting on international public health security may be convened in due course. For China, we will be happy to join other countries and scale up support for relevant international and regional organizations.

Fourth, we need to enhance international macro-economic policy coordination. The outbreak has disrupted production and demand across the globe. Countries need to leverage and coordinate their macro policies to counteract the negative impact and prevent the world economy from falling into recession. We need to implement strong and effective fiscal and monetary policies to keep our exchange rates basically stable. We need to better coordinate financial regulation to keep global financial market stable. We need to jointly keep the global industrial and supply chains stable. What China will do in this regard is to increase its supply of active pharmaceutical ingredients, daily necessities, and anti-epidemic and other supplies to the international market. What's more, we also need to protect women, children, the elderly, people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, and provide for people's basic needs. China will continue to pursue a proactive fiscal policy and prudent monetary policy. We will continue to advance reform and opening-up, widen market access, improve the business environment, and expand imports and outbound investment to contribute to a stable world economy.

I want to call on all G20 members to take collective actions - cutting tariffs, removing barriers, and facilitating the unfettered flow of trade. Together, we can send a strong signal and restore confidence for global economic recovery. The G20 needs to draw up an action plan and promptly set up communication mechanisms and institutional arrangements for anti-epidemic macro policy coordination.

Now is a crucial moment, and time for us to rise up to challenge and act with swiftness. I am convinced that through solidarity and mutual assistance, we will prevail over this epidemic and we all will embrace a brighter future for mankind!

Currently, the China-U.S. relationship has reached an important juncture. As cooperation benefits both sides and confrontation hurts both, the former remains the only correct choice. It is hoped that the United States will take substantive steps to improve the relationship and work with China to strengthen cooperation in areas such as epidemic preparedness and response. This will contribute to building a relationship based on non-conflict or confrontation, mutual respect and win-win cooperation

V. China's timely and decisive measures do not only show responsibility for the health of its own people, but also contribute to the world's public health services. China has made great sacrifices in battling against the epidemic and the international community has already expressed favorable opinion.

Under the centralized and unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee and the joint efforts of all sides, the prevention and control work is being vigorously carried out, and the overall response of various sectors of society and international public opinion is sound. When I met with the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros hailed the high speed and massive scale of China's moves that are rarely seen in the world, which shows efficiency and the advantages of China's system. The experience of China is worth learning for other countries, he believed that the measures China has taken will effectively control and finally prevail over the epidemic

China's measures are not only protecting its own people, but also protecting the people in the whole world. China has released information in an open and transparent manner, identified the pathogen in a record-short time and shared the genetic sequence of the novel coronavirus in a timely manner with the WHO and other countries including the United States, and invited WHO experts to visit Wuhan in central China where the epidemic first broke out. The resolute and effective measures we have taken are confirmed by many countries and highly praised by the WHO.

China's targeted and decisive measures do not only show responsibility for the health of its own people, but also contribute to the world's public health services, which is fully confirmed by the WHO and various countries in the world.

After the outbreak of this epidemic, the international community pays close attention to how we respond and what the results of the response will be. The Chinese display of China's strength, China's spirit, China's efficiency, and the image of a responsible country in the prevention and control of the epidemic situation are highly praised by the international community. Leaders of more than 170 countries and heads of more than 40 international and regional organizations expressed their sympathy and support to China by telephone, letter and statement, etc. The international community generally believes that while comprehensively and effectively preventing and controlling the epidemic situation, China has actively carried out cooperation and information exchange with the WHO and the international community, rapidly shared the whole genome sequence of virus, successfully developed rapid detection kits, and made efforts to prevent the spread of the epidemic in the world, which shows not only responsibility for the life safety and health of Chinese people, but also contribute to the world public Health services. The international community generally believes that China's resolute and powerful prevention and control measures indicate its outstanding leadership, response, organization and mobilization, and implementation capabilities, are beyond the reach of other countries, and set a good example for world epidemic prevention.

Guided by the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind, China is working with a sense of responsibility both for the life and health of its own people and for global public health. With an open, transparent and responsible attitude, we have actively engaged in international cooperation against the outbreak, and our efforts have been highly recognized by the WHO and the international community. China will continue to strengthen cooperation with Mongolia and other countries to effectively contain the epidemic and safeguard regional and global public health security.

In the recent period, I have frequently spoken to foreign leaders, to 22 leaders of foreign countries and 26 times to leaders of international organizations since January 22. Yesterday, I also attended the Extraordinary G-20 Leaders Summit on the COVID-19 outbreak. All sides have generally recognized that we have controlled the epidemic in a relatively short period of time, and expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation with China and work together to meet the challenges of the epidemic under a multilateral framework.
