6月8日,韓国驻成都总领事张蹄壑拜会市政府外办党组书记、主任章勇武,双方就重庆与韩国的历史渊源、交往合作,以及抗疫中的相互支持交换了意见。
章勇武通报了重庆市新冠肺炎疫情情况、防控措施以及“快捷通道”实施情况。他指出,新冠肺炎疫情暴发以来,重庆与韩国仁川、首尔、釜山、全罗南道等地守望相助,携手抗疫。重庆将继续与韩国驻成都总领事馆保持密切沟通与协作,积极支持在渝韩国企业与机构复工复产。
张蹄壑表示,疫情发生以来,重庆与韩国互相协助,积极沟通,目前中韩“快捷通道”实施效果良好,及时帮助韩资企业和机构复工复产。2019年是大韩民国临时政府成立100周年,韩国驻成都总领馆为此在重庆等城市举办了纪念活动,希望以此为契机,继往开来,推动重庆与韩国全方位友好交流与合作更上一层楼。

Jang Jehak, consul general of the Republic of Korea in Chengdu, called on, on June 8th, Zhang Yongwu, secretary of the Party Group and director-general of the FAOCMG. Both reviewed the historical ties and cooperative relations between Chongqing and the ROK and exchanged views on mutual support in the battle against the pandemic.
Mr. Zhang Yongwu briefed Mr. Jang Jehak on the COVID-19 outbreak in Chongqing, the prevention and control measures, and the implementation of the fast-track entry for business people between two countries. He stated that, since the outbreak, Chongqing and the ROK's Incheon, Seoul, Pusan, and Kyungsangnam-do, among other places, had helped each other in the relief effort. Chongqing will continue to maintain close communication and collaboration with the Consulate General in support of the resumption of production and work of South Koreas companies and institutions in Chongqing
Since the pandemic outbreak, the Chinese government has been working with South Korea on the implementation of the fast track program. Coming to each others rescue and proactive communication between Chongqing and South Korea have promptly helped ROK-owned companies and organizations resume work and production, expressed Mr. Jang Jehak. The year of 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the interim government of the Republic of Korea. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chengdu held commemorative events in Chongqing and other cities in the hope that this will serve as an opportunity to brush a new chapter for relations between Chongqing and the ROK.
