JOINING FORCES

As the government mobilizes medical personnel and resources from all over the country to reinforce the work of doctors and nurses in Wuhan， the epicenter of the novel coronavirus outbreak in Hubei Province， central China， a team from the southwestern province of Sichuan is working around the clock at the Wuhan Red Cross Hospital to treat patients.

Many of its members from the West China Hospital of Sichuan University have experience grappling with death and devastation in the wake of the killer earthquake in Sichuan in 2008. Though they face unknown risks， their dedication and morale have never wavered， triggering admiration and applause from all over the world. n
