As summer comes to an end and the warm weather begins to fade, the days get shorter and the layers of clothing start to get heavier. For most people, saying goodbye to summer vacation and the long hours of daylight can be really difficult. The end of summer can make us a little sad, but this means autumn is coming, and its the perfect time to restart at the beginning of a new season. Its a time to make new goals, and try new things.

随着夏天的结束,温暖的天气开始变少,白天变短,衣服的层次开始变厚。对大多数人来说,告别暑假和长日照是非常困难的。夏天的结束会让我们有点悲伤,但这意味着秋天即将来临,这是在新季节伊始重新开始的最佳时机。现在是时候制定新目标,尝试新事物了。

Find Activities for the Shorter Days

As it starts to get darker earlier, temperatures drop and the sun sets before our eyes. Without the additional hours of sunlight, you may feel more fatigue2 and less motivated than you felt during the summer months. To make up for this overwhelming change, find activities you enjoy that you can do indoors, away from the cold weather and dark. Whether its joining a class volleyball team, taking an art class, or joining a book club, your activities dont have to end just because it looks like the daylight has.

Transitioning into autumn can also shift our schedules and daily routines. If you stick by a routine, its easy to get set in your ways, but with autumn showcasing so many beautiful changes in nature, there is not a doubt that you can replicate4 that change in yourself as well!It is a great time to change things up and keep yourself mentally stimulated. As you get into a new routine, re-evaluate your goals, wellness, and favorite activities. Prioritize whats important to you and find a plan that keeps those priorities in mind.

When the weather starts to get cold, our skin and hair are bound to get extremely dry. Another big contributor to dry skin and hair is dehydration6. Train yourself to drink enough water each day to stay hydrated7. This will not only make your skin feel softer and brighter, but your hair will start to look shiny as well!

Clean, Re-organize, and Declutter8

Cleaning out your house and wardrobe isnt just for the spring. Try something different with your bedroom or your living room to make it feel more “you”. Go through your closet to pack away your summer clothes and replace them with your warmer items. Re-evaluate which warmer clothes you still like and fit you. Get rid of the clothing and items you dont wear or use anymore, and treat yourself to new pieces.

清理、重新组织和整理

Make Plans

Autumn has some of the best activities and traditions. Theres Mid-Autumn Day, autumn hiking, and so much more. Make plans with your friends and family to do fun things or take weekend trips. Doing so will give you something to look forward to.

秋天有最棒的活动和传统,有中秋节、秋游等等。计划一下和你的朋友和家人一起做些有趣的事情或者进行周末旅行,这样会给你一些值得期待的东西。
