The Little Match Girl

本期剧场给大家带来《卖火柴的小女孩》（改编版）。在寒冷的冬天，一位瘦弱、乖巧的小女孩每天都要走上寒冷的街头卖火柴，赚钱供养酗酒的父亲。当小女孩因为寒冷晕倒在地后，仁慈的上帝发现了她，小女孩的命运到底如何？让我们一起来欣赏来自江苏省泰州市海陵区大浦中心小学的同学们带来的精彩表演吧！

Narrator：It was Christmas Eve. There was a little poor girl on the street. She was so cold and hungry. She had to sell the matches.

Girl：What a cold day！ Matches，matches... Who wants some matches？ Sir，would you buy some matches？

Pedestrian 1：Oh，no，no. Thank you.

Girl：Merry Christmas，Sir，Madam. Do you want some matches？ They’re cheap.

Pedestrian 2&3：Don’t you see we’re busy？ Go away！

Girl：Matches，matches... Oh，please buy some...

Narrator：A man rode rapidly by.

Man：Oh！ Get away！

Girl：Ouch！

Boy：Aha！ How big the slipper is.

Girl：My shoe... Please give it back to me，please！

Narrator：The girl pulled one match out and struck it on the wall. The ting light brightened the girl’s face and warmed her heart. At this wonderful moment，she began to dream and imagine she was in front of a big stove（火炉）.

Girl：A stove！ How warm and beautiful！

Narrator：She stretched out her feet. Just then，the blaze（火焰） went out. And the stove vanished（消失）.

Girl：No！ Don’t go！

Narrator：She struck a new match，and something wonderful happened. This time a lot of food appeared and there was a very big roasted goose（烤鹅） on the table.

Girl：I like goose. How delicious！

Narrator：She was just ready to eat the delicious goose when the blaze went out（熄灭）again. All things vanished like before.

Narrator：She struck a new match again，and something wonderful happened again. This time she saw her departed（逝去的） grandma. She felt so excited！

Girl：Grandma？

Grandma：I miss you so much，my child.

Girl：I miss you too，grandma. I’m so cold，so hungry，and so lonely. I need you. Take me to a place where there is no coldness，no hunger，and no pain（痛苦）. Take me with you！

Narrator：The last match burned out. The girl，together with her grandma，was flying away ...

God：What a pity！ I saw all what happened to her. I must help her. Let me see...

Narrator：Next morning，the girl woke up. She couldn’t believe her own eyes. She was lying in a big warm bed with a new dress！ Her shabby（破旧的） dress went away.

Girl：What happened to me？Who can tell me？

God：Hi，my child. I received the prayer（禱告） from you. I was moved（感动的）. I give you new life and hope you can be happier from now on...
