CHINESE PREMIER CONGRATULATES PRAYUT ON RE-APPOINTMENT AS THAI PM

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang congratulated Prayut Chan-o-cha on his re-appointment as prime minister of Thailand on June 11.

In the congratulatory message, Li noted that in recent years,Thailand has made great achievements in development under Prayut's leadership and expressed belief that the prime minister would continue leading the Thai people towards prosperity.

China and Thailand are like brothers. The two countries have maintained close and friendly relations, and their cooperation in jointly building the Belt and Road has yielded fruitful results, Li said.

The Chinese premier expressed enthusiasm to work with Prayut to develop and expand the traditional friendship between the two countries and deepen their comprehensive strategic cooperation to create more welfare for the two peoples.
