Museums as Cultural Hubs： The Future of Tradition

This theme focuses on the role of the museums as the active participants in communities, communities and society, advocating that the museums can supply the highquality cultural for the society, at mean time, enhancing the public's sense of cultural identity and belonging as well as enhance the public's sense of happiness and acquisition. At the same time, museums which are seen as the "cultural centers", should also strive to build a platform for exchange and dialogue among different kinds of civilizations, maintain the diversity of varied cultural,promote the interconnection, tolerance and mutual learning of different cultures. The Chinese Museums in the New Era should initiative to integrate into the overall situation of the economic and social development, and give full play to the "central centers" role of museums in cultural heritage as well as promote the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional culture. Museums should educate the people with culture and literature, promoting the progress of the social civilization and achieving the sustainable development for the future.
