There were many well-known artists in the late Qing Dynasty, amongst which Wu Changshuo was a prominent poet, painter, calligrapher and seal artist who was honored as “the last peak of literati painting” and “the first person of seal scripts”. Mr. Wu had not only extremely high artistic attainments, but influenced many younger pupils at that time.
