The launch ceremony of the 2019 Yunnan Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Series and Lancang-Mekong Week at Yunnan University.
The 2019 Yunnan Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Series and Lancang-Mekong Week were launched at Yunnan University on March 18.
More than 200 representatives from Kunming-based foreign consulates, local governments, universities and companies,including Lao consul general Khamphone Vongsanty, Myanmar consul general U Soe Paing, Cambodian consul general Lem Puthviro and Malaysian consul general Faizal Bin Shani, attended the launch ceremony.
More than 30 LMC events will be held in succession in 2019 including seminars on LMC, think-tank forums on building the Lancang-Mekong economic belt, and roundtable dialogues on Lancang-Mekong environmental cooperation.
