国庆假期间，重庆共接待境内外游客3489.69万人次，实现旅游总收入141.27亿元，同比分别增长13.8%和28.4%。

During the National Day holiday, 34.8969 million domestic and foreign tourists traveled to Chongqing, achieving a total tourism revenue of 14.127 billion yuan, with year-on-year growth of 13.8% and 28.4% respectively.

2018年10月7日，第十届中国曲艺牡丹奖颁奖系列活动新闻发布会举行，来自重庆的四川竹琴传承人何菊芳获牡丹奖表演奖，四川评书传承人袁国虎获牡丹奖新人奖。

On October 7, 2018, the press conference of Awards Ceremony of the 10th Chinese Folk Art Forms Peony Awards was held. The inheritor of Sichuan T’rung, He Jufang from Chongqing, won the Performance Award, and the successor of Sichuan Storytelling, Yuan Guohu won the Newcomer Award.

2018年10月11日，重庆市公安局与市河长办联合印发《关于全面实施河库警长制工作的意见》，将在全市设市、区县、乡镇三级河库警长，围绕打击破坏环境资源犯罪活动、维护河库水域治安秩序、做好河库法制宣传等开展工作。

On October 11, 2018, Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Municipal River Office jointly issuedOpinions on the Comprehensive Implementation of the Work of Sheriff System,which decided to set up three-level river and reservoir sheriff in the city, with the aim to fight against the crime of destruction of environmental resources, maintain the security order of river and reservoir banks and carry out the legal publicity.

The 2nd China Light Art Design Competition Lowered the Curtain Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Won 19 Awards

2018年10月10日，第二届中国光艺术设计大赛在鲁迅美术学院美术馆闭幕。四川美术学院在本次大赛中斩获19项大奖，占奖项总数的近1/3。

On October 10, 2018, the 2nd China Light Art Design Competition closed at the Art Museum of LuXun Academy of Fine Arts. Sichuan Fine Arts Institute won 19 awards in this competition, accounting for nearly one-third of the total number of awards.

重庆机场开通芝加哥、多伦多国际航线

Chongqing Airport Opened International Routes to Chicago and Toronto

2018年10月16，随着海南航空HU497航班从重庆江北国际机场起飞，重庆—北京—芝加哥航线顺利启程。除了这一航线，重庆机场近日还开通了重庆—北京—多伦多航线。

On October 16, 2018, as HU497 flight of Hainan Airlines took off from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, the Chongqing-Beijing-Chicago route set off smoothly.In addition to this route, Chongqing Airport also opened the Chongqing-Beijing-Toronto route recently.

前三季度重庆外贸同比增长13.9%

2018年10月17日，重庆海关发布消息，今年前三季度，重庆外贸进出口总值3687亿元，较去年同期增长13.9%。

On October 17, 2018, Chongqing Customs announced that in the first three quarters of this year,the total value of Chongqing's foreign trade imports and exports was 368.7 billion yuan, reaching an increase of 13.9% over the same period of last year.

2018年10月17日，2018年全国脱贫攻坚奖表彰大会暨首场脱贫攻坚先进事迹报告会举行，我市4人获评先进个人：秀山县川河盖蜜蜂养殖专业合作社理事长白天树获得“奋进奖”，城口县岚天乡党委书记江奉武获得“创新奖”，巫山县当阳乡党政办主任严克美获得“贡献奖”，新疆宏博房地产集团有限公司董事长魏宗平获得“奉献奖”。

2018年10月19日、20日，由四川人民艺术剧院携手北京人艺著名导演李六乙创排的四川话版《茶馆》，在重庆群星剧院拉开2018全国巡演大幕。

On October 19 and 20, 2018,Teahousesof Sichuan dialect version, which was created by the Sichuan People’s Art Theatre and Li Liuyi, a famous director of Beijing People’s Art, started the 2018 national tour in Chongqing Qunxing Theater.

2018年10月18日，首届“长江-莱茵河”新生儿围产期医学论坛上传出消息，重庆市妇幼保健院与德国马格德堡大学GerhardJorch教授合作，建立德国标准的1级围产中心及新生儿科研平台。

From October 19 to 22, 2018, the 6th China (Chongqing) Trade Exhibition and Trad Fair was held at Chongqing International Expo Center. The total exhibition area of this year’s fair is 130,000 square meters. More than 2,000 enterprises have participated in the exhibition. There are nine major exhibition areas, including local specialty pavilion, auto pavilion, new commercial and new retail pavilion, fashion home pavilion, imported merchandise pavilion, and international snack festivals.
