On September 11, Chinese Vice Premier Han Zheng met leaders attending the 15th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit in Nanning, the capital city of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Han, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, extended a welcome to Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Myanmar Vice President U Myint Swe, Vietnams Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue, Lao Deputy Prime Minister Somdy Duangdy and Tanzanian Second Vice President of Zanzibar Seif Ali Iddi.
Han announced that China stands ready to work with ASEAN member states to take the 15th anniversary of the establishment of China-ASEAN strategic partnership an opportunity to strengthen coordination, deepen pragmatic cooperation and make contributions to building a community with a shared future for China and ASEAN.
The foreign leaders said that their countries attach great importance to CAEXPO and are committed to developing friendly relations with China.
