Keeping in pace with Chinas reform and opening-up， China-ASEAN relations have evolved into a strategic partnership over the past four decades. With deepening cooperation in various sectors including politics， trade and culture， China and ASEAN countries are all benefiting from reform and opening-up.

ASEAN has always been a priority of Chinas international cooperation， especially in the economic and trade sector. Over the past four decades， they jointly promoted infrastructure and border trade， supported cooperation at the business level， boosted regional economy through building industrial parks， attracted foreign investment and weathered the 1998 financial turmoil. The list of cooperation is long. These are achievements fueled not only by Chinas reform and opening-up， but also China-ASEAN win-win cooperation.
