Recently, the 3rd China Mens Wear Summit Forum which was sponsored by China National Garment Association and Ningbo Peoples Government and jointly organized by Mens Wear Specialized Committee of China National Garment Association, Ningbo Economy and Informatization Committee, Ningbo Hixpo Conference& Exhibition Co., Ltd., was held in Ningbo recently.
This forum is themed on “new consumption market, new mens wear model, reconstitution of the new value”. The present Chinese garment industry is in the key strategic period of industrial structure regulation and motive force development, with both opportunity and challenge existing, in order to have overall promotion of “Made in China 2025”, carry out and implement the strategy of increasing varieties, improving qualities and creating brands, thus further accelerating the continuous innovation of the mens wear enterprises in China, lift the brand values and carry forward the industry to stride forward into middle and high ends.

The textile and garment industry is the traditional industry of Ningbo. After the reform and opening-up policy of over 30 years, it has formed the development pattern with industrial clusters, diversified products, multivariant brands and market segmentation. It has the annual production value of almost RMB 200 billion, with an export value of over RMB 40 billion. It has great batch of famous garment enterprises and brands such as Youngor, Shanshan, Romon, Peace Bird and so on.The business suits and suits manufactured by the whole city occupy 40% of Zhejiang Province. The shirts have an overall national occupying rate of 25%. Meanwhile, Ningbo textile and garment industry depends on the opportunity of “Made in China 2025” to speed up the steps in the intelligentization, high-end oriented and fashionorientation directions, have accelerated development to variety-increasing, quality-improving and brand-creating aspects.”

The physical stores in the future must be managed with the system of operating online stores to realize success. Its a kind of elaborate management based on the analysis of big data, otherwise, the physical stores will have no promising future. Today, in the key point of the transformation, we must recognize the direction of the transformation accurately, with customers as the center, to break the original model of branch companies and joined administration. This model is definitely to have no future. The purchasing meeting also has no future. The retails transformation must be truly customer-centered. Multi-channel model has to be conducted but is not promising. It will bring business to us. The vice director of the industrial development, China National Textile and Apparel Council, vice president of Industrial Economy Research Institute - Liu Xin shared the operating tendency and expectation of the textile industry in China in 2017. In the first three quarters in 2017, the operation is improving in stabilization, with both quality and efficiency taking the lead. No matter the export performance and the inner sales performance of the key markets, they are both quite stable. Integrated with the performance of the mens wear in recent years, in 2017, the industrial operation will tend to be stable and the business income will maintain a level of about 8%.
