一、 Warn-up:

1.Sing the song :When Is Your Birthday?

(1)师(举January词卡):Who has a birthday in January?

生1:Me.

师:Whats the date?

生1:January_______

师根据回答电脑板书、屏幕显示该日期

(2)师(举July词卡):Who has a birthday in July?

同(1)步骤板书日期:July_______

(3)师:Is your birthday in July, too?

生3:No, my birthday is in April.

师(举April词卡):Whats the date?

生3:Its April_______.

同(1)步骤板书日期:April_______

(4)引导学生3将单词“April”放到步骤1的歌曲,唱歌。

生3(唱):My birthday is in April…

(5)师(向全班):Is his/ her birthday in July?

生:No.

师:Is his/ her birthday in April?

生:Yes.

师:Yes, youre right.We can answer:Yes, it is.板书该句子,齐读。

(6)师(举June词卡):Who has a birthday in June?

生4:Me.

师:Whats the date?

生4:June 9th.

同(1)步骤板书日期:June 9th

引导学生4将单词“June”放到步骤1的歌曲,唱歌。

生4(唱):My birthday is in June…

(7)师(向全班):Is his/ her birthday in June?

生:Yes.

板书句子:Is her birthday in June?带读。

(8)师:Her birthday is in June. Whats the date?

生5:June 9th.

板书句子:Whats the date?带读。

2.A race:抢读刚才出现的词组: January_______, July_______ ,April_______,June 9th

二、Presentation:

1.师:××(指学生3) birthday is in April.Its coming. I want to sent him a birthday card.

将卡片贴在黑板上:Look!This is a birthday card. 板书:birthday card,带读。

(1) 师(向全班):Do you like birthday cards?

生:Yes, I do.

师:Oh, I know. Everyone likes to get birthday cards. 板书该句子,带读。

(2)师(给卡片画上电脑边框,惊奇地):Look! The card is in the computer. We can call it An e-card. 板书:an e-card,带读。

(3)师(画上鼠标,做相应的动作,在较远处贴上Grandma的图片):That is Grandma. I dont live with her. Her birthday is coming. Now Im sending Grandma an e-card. 板书:sending an e-card,带读。

.(4)师(像想起什么状):Oh, sorry. Grandma doesnt have a computer. Then she wont be able to see the card. 板书这些句子,带读。

(5)师:Grandma doesnt have a computer .She wont be able to see the card. What shll I do? Who can give me a good idea?

生6:You can make a birthday card.

师:That sounds good! Lets make a birthday card. OK?

生:OK!

板书:make a birthday card,带读。

(6)师:Who can make a birthday card?让一名学生上来快速完成卡片制作。

2.引导学生打开课本第33页,听课文录音,跟读,齐读。

3.完成文后的回答问题练习。

三、Consolidation and extension:

1.Listening exercises:听问句,找答句。

(1)When is Tree-Planting Day?(2)Is her birthday in September?(3)Does she have a computer?(4)Whats the date?(5)When is your birthday?(6)Whose birthday is in October?

答句:A.Its in May. B.No, it isnt. C.Zhang Pengs. D.Its Mar.12th. E.No, she doesnt.F.Its November 8th.

(2)Make a survey and ask some questions about the survey.

The questions may be:

1. Who has a birthday in…?

2. When is ×× birthday?

3. Whose birthday is in…?

4. Is ×× birthday in…?

5. Whats the date of ×× birthday?

6. How many birthdays are there in…?
