Li Ruohong Former Deputy Director of Guangdong Provincial Finance Office Expelled from the Party

Guangdong Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission announced on its website “Fresh Breeze of the South” that Lai Yicheng former CPPCC Chairman and Party Leadership Group Secretary of Shantou City and Li Ruohong former Deputy Director of Guangdong Provincial Finance Office would be expelled from the Party disqualified for cadre emeritus treatment and brought to justice department.

Li Ruohong 59 was repositioned from the Bank of China Harbin Branch to China Guangfa Bank in the 1990s. During the ten years serving for Guangfa Bank Li Ruohong successively acted as Assistant President Deputy President member of the Party Leadership Group Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group President Chairman Secretary of the Party Leadership Group Party Secretary and head of the Strategic Management Committee of the bank.

Li Ruohong was appointed as the Deputy Director of Guangdong Provincial Finance Office. By the time the case was exposed Li Ruohong already retired from the post for two years.

The ongoing investigation says that Li Ruohong took advantage of his position and sought profit unlawfully in exchange for massive bribes. Apart from money crime he is also charged with adultery.
