Dear Mary,
Im writing to tell you something about e-hongbao. It is becoming popular in China.
E-hongbao, in fact, is a kind of lucky money from and to relatives and friends during festivals or on the special time. For many young people, grabbing e-hongbao on their mobile phones is a very common and exciting activity. Unlike the tradition of elders giving lucky money to children, over half of people sending e-hongbao are in their twenties. Its just for fun or giving best wishes, while the sum of money matters little. All in all, e-hongbao is bringing new colour to the old tradition. However, Im worried about the safety of on-line payment. So, as for the e-hongbao system, rules and regulations need to be improved to ensure its operation.
Best wishes.
Yours,
Yang Xueyan
