According to the March 19 issue of the Jiaxing daily front page news, Jiaxing city, Jiaxing Vice Secretary Hu Haifeng has served as Deputy Mayor and Acting Mayor.
Because of work, in accordance with the Peoples Republic of China local peoples congresses and organic law of the local peoples Governments at various levels and the Jiaxing city peoples Congress Standing Committee of appointed functionaries of the relevant provisions of the measures, it was decided that: accepting comrade Lin Jiandong, Jiaxing city, resigned from the post of Mayor of requests, and Jiaxing city VII session of the seventh meeting of the peoples Congress for the record.
Hu Haifeng, born November 1971 is a Chinese businessman and the son of the former Chinese President and Communist Party General Secretary Hu Jintao. He is currently the mayor of Jiaxing.
Hu graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Beijing Jiaotong University and Executive MBA from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University. Hu married fellow Tsinghua grad Wang Jun, who is now assistant at School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua.
In July 2009, the Namibian government charged Nuctech with corruption.
