I heard the word “Maker” from my headteacher. He explained “Maker” refers to those who make great efforts to turn their creative ideas into reality.

As time goes by，I come to understand the deeper meaning of Maker. Personally，the letter “M” stands for “Method”，the method to improve ideas. “K” stands for “Knowledge”. It’s acknowledged that if a person wants to create something，he must be equipped with rich knowledge. “E” represents“Endurance”. There is a leap from the creative product to the formation of the business model. Every leap is not easy. So Makers have to endure failure over and over again.

I believe through their own efforts，Makers will finally unite people and society together.

I’ve decided to go to England to attend high school next year. I have a lot of questions about English high school life. Could you tell me a bit about your school life?

First，how many years does high school go for? And how many terms is the school year divided into? How many classes do you have each day? I’m also interested in what activities students take part in after class. As well as the compulsory subjects such as English and maths，do you have any optional subjects such as music? Finally I wonder if you have too much homework after school each day.
