500,000 Tonnes Ferro Alloy Project Landed in Huade, Scheduled to Produce 100,000 Tonnes of Nickel Each Year
On July 20, Huade County People’s Government signed agreement for 500,000 tonnes ferro alloy project with Zhongtian Xinrun Holdings Co., Ltd. This project involves a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan, scheduled to be completed in three stages.
Construction of Phase I project is from August 2015 to May 2016, with staged fund investment of 500 million yuan, which is for completion of 4 sets of 30000 kVA submerged arc furnace and supporting facility construction, meanwhile the capacity expansion & technology upgrading construction for ferro-nickel furnace will start construction simultaneously.
Construction of Phase II project is from June 2016 to May 2017, with an investment of 350 million yuan, Which is for construction of 2 sets of 30000 kVA submerged arc furnace and supporting facility, 2 sets of 6300 kVA refining furnace, 2
Construction time of Phase III is from June 2017 to May 2018, with an investment of 350 million yuan, which his for construction of 2 sets of 30000 kVA submerged arc furnace, and one set of CLU refining furnace and supporting facility.
After the project is completed and launched into production, each year it can manufacture 500,000 tonnes of manganese alloy products, 100,000 tonnes of nickel products, whose output value is 6 billion yuan, profit tax is 500 million yuan, and can create 2000 jobs for the local job market. At present, the previously four sets of submerged arc furnace frames retrieved from Beicheng Company and auxiliary facilities have all been purchased by Zhongtian Xinrun Holdings Co., Ltd, which rejuvenates existing resources, and will forcefully boost further development of the alloy industry in the industrial park.
