蜡烛姑娘

1.Once upon a time a kind old grandpa made a girl of candle.She wore bright-coloured clothes and a floral hoop.

从前有位善良的老爷爷，他做了个蜡烛姑娘，穿着花衣裳，头戴美丽的花环。

2. “It would be better if the girl could bring people happiness.” said the old grandpa softly.

做好后，老爷爷轻轻地说：“如果蜡烛姑娘能给大伙带来幸福，那该多好啊！”

3.The floral hoop gives out light. The girl blinked her eyes and grew up.

话刚说完，蜡烛姑娘头上的花环射出光芒，她眨了眨眼睛，人也变大了。

4. “Grandpa， with the floral hoop Ill make your wish come true.” said the girl.

蜡烛姑娘说话了：“老爷爷，有这美丽的花环，我一定能实现你善良的愿望！”

5.She flew and flew. Suddenly she saw a blind girl crying.

说完，她就飞了起来，飞呀飞呀，忽然看见一位瞎眼小姑娘在伤心地哭着。

6.She took a flower off the floral hoop and touched the blind girls face with it. The girl could see again.

她飞下来，从花环上摘下一朵花，往瞎眼小姑娘脸上一碰，小姑娘重见光明了。

7.The little girl was so happy and threw herself into the candle girls arms. But soon she cried again.

小姑娘高兴极了，一头扑进蜡烛姑娘怀里，可刚笑一会儿，她又伤心地哭了。

8. “The old king was dead， many people in our village were buried with him，”said the little girl.

小姑娘说：“最近老国王死了，我们村里有许多人要去陪葬。”

9.The candle girl was very angry and decided to save them. They came to the kings graveyard quietly.

蜡烛姑娘听了很气愤，决心去救大家，就和小姑娘悄悄来到国王的墓地。

10.A group of soldiers were on guard. The candle girl took a flower off the floral hoop and threw it at soldiers.

墓前，有一队士兵守卫着。蜡烛姑娘从花环上摘下一朵花儿，掷向守墓的士兵。

11.The soldiers fell to the ground. The candle girl walked to the tomb gate and found it locked.

一眨眼，士兵们一个个倒在地上。蜡烛姑娘走到墓门口，见门上有把大锁。

12. She took off a flower again and touched the lock softly. The gate opened.

她又摘下一朵花儿，在锁上轻轻一碰，墓门开了。

13.It was dark inside.The candle girl lit the floral hoop. The tomb passage was very deep.

墓里黑洞洞的，蜡烛姑娘点燃了花环，照亮了墓道。啊，墓道好深好深啊！

14.The buried people saw the sparks and walked out of the tomb gate.

陪葬的人看见了火花，互相搀扶着，沿着墓道，往墓门外走去。

15.But the floral hoop was burned up. It was dark again .A lot of people lost their way.

但是，蜡烛姑娘的花环烧完了，墓里又黑下来，还没走出来的人又迷了路。

16.The girl decided to sacrifice herself to save them，so she lit her hair.

蜡烛姑娘想起老爷爷的话，决定牺牲自己救大家，她点燃了头发。

17.Her hair，and then she was on fire all over. That made the graveyard very bright.

呼啦一下，她的头发烧着了，接着全身也燃烧起来，照得墓地一片光亮。

18.All the people were saved. But the candle girl dissolved. She became a rosy cloud and floated to the blue sky.

所有的人都得救了，可是蜡烛姑娘融化了。她变成了一朵彩云，飘向蓝天。
