Chinese teachers, scholars, and other language education insiders around the world gathered together in San Francisco to share their experiences, research findings, and inspirations ideas at the Fourth Annual Chinese Language Education Forum.The World of Chineseexecutive publisher Chu Danan attended this two-day event from October 18 to 19 to learn about the latest developments in the field. Teaming up with Yoyo Chinese and Better Chinese, both based in the US,TWOCis looking forward to bringing more stories to North American readers.
The World of Chineseteamed up with TradersLink to provide an explanation and Q&A session about China’s myriad of new and confusing visa regulations on Friday, November 15 at the Bridge Café in Beijing’s Wudaokou district. Isobel, managing director of TradersLink, started the information session with a breakdown of all the new visa letter categories, their subcategories, and how the old visa letters have changed. She then fielded questions from the audience about how these changes will affect expatriates wanting to continue to study, work, and live in China.
