如何区别“三兄弟”

How often，how long和how soon我们可称他们为三兄弟。他们都含有“多长，多久”之意。但是他们都各自为政、各占各座。

先来说说how often，这是询问情况发生的频率程度。译为“多久一次”，如：

—How often do you go to the theatre？

—A month.

—你多长时间去一次剧院？

—一月一次。

接着再说how long.它是指某种延续性的状况或行为持续多长时间。译为“多长时间”或“多久”，如：

—How long did you stay there？

—Three weeks.

—你在那儿呆了多久？

—三周。

最后说说how soon，它是指说话后的一段时间将发生的事情，用于表示将来的动作或状态，回答时常用介词“in +短语”，译为“在……之后”，如：

—How soon will her sister be back？

—I think shell be back in four days.

—她姐姐什么时候回来？

—我想她四天后能回来。
