Wilderness under the Stars– Liu Wei Solo Exhibition
March 9 – April 3, 2013 Line Gallery, Beijing
Born in 1983, Liu Wei graduated from Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in 2006. Although he endeavors to disseminate “positive energy”through his paintings, it remains hard for him to define this “energy” with words. He believes this force to be dynamic like light and life. In this exhibition, Liu chose the theme of “wilderness under the stars” because he believes that when this period fades at dawn, the “positive energy”hibernates.
