TISCO and Shaanxi Non-ferrous Metals to Jointly Forge the Largest Titanium Base

On June 28, TISCO and Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Holding Group jointly established Shanxi Baotai New Metals Development Co.,Ltd., which is mainly engaged in development and production of titanium and titanium alloy large forge piece, section bar, large-caliber extruded tube, titanium belt and titanium welded tube. The responsible person of TISCO noted that the both sides will, through in-depth cooperation, make great efforts to forge the largest titanium and stainless steel processing and sales base in the world.

The recent establishment of Shanxi Baotai New Metals Development Co., Ltd. is another major initiative for TISCO to implement the strategic deployment of transition and leapfrog development and forge a new material industrial base. Shaanxi Non-ferrous Metals,partner of the project, is capable of independently developing nonferrous metals resources at home and abroad. It boasts strong industrial production and scientific research capabilities and complete industrial systems covering mining, dressing, smelting processing,prospecting design, processing, manufacturing and domestic/foreign trade, etc. Baoji Titanium Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Shanxi Baotai New Metals Development Co., Ltd, is China’s largest specialized rare metals production and scientific research base, mainly engaging in titanium and titanium alloy.
