Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang now presents various moon cake packages for the coming Mid-Autumn Festival and for each box sold, the hotel will donate 10 yuan to the World Wildlife Fund for Nature’s Wild Giant Panda preserve project in China.
The participants of The Ritz-Carlton Presidential Roundtable, top U.S. travel agencies and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co.’s representatives, joined in a voluntary engagement program in Moscow recently to focus on the environmental preservation of Tsaritsyno, an ancient estate of the Tsars featuring architecture from the 17th and 18th century.
The event was organized by The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow.As instructed by the estate’s administration, the participants of the Presidential Roundtable were assigned to clean three bridges over the brook and remove debris from the surrounding area. Volunteers worked hard and even inspired some local residents walking in the park to put on gloves and make a difference as well. To express their gratitude,the management of Tsaritsyno Park invited volunteers for a tour through the estate’s ancient palaces.
As the only Ritz-Carlton representative from China, Michel Goget, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya, participated in this meaningful event as a volunteer.
