Mingwang’s New 5，000 Ton Copper Project to Begin

Gansu Mingwang Copper & Aluminum Co.,Ltd. has a capacity of 10,000 tons/year of copper and aluminum products, most of which are copper products. In order to increase its market share in copper products and meet the demand for copper in northwestern China, the company plans to invest in a 5000-ton copper-processing project, in which new technology such as red copper tile rolling and copper bus continuous extrusion will be introduced. When completed,the project will produce 5,000 tons of energysaving and environment-friendly copper including red copper tiles and copper buses for mining thermals and electrical furnaces. The project requires an additional 56 units of main manufacturing equipment and 478 sets of moulds. Also, the project comes with total investment of RMB 35.86 million and covers a floor area of 4440 sq m
