Africa is rich and its stock is rising, statedformer United Nations Secretary GeneralKofi Annan. More than five decadesafter political liberation from colonialism, thefundamental civil and political human rightsenshrined in constitutions have carved outpolitical spaces for the continents populationand its future - the youth. Africas youth- defined as between the ages of 15 to 24 yearsold - currently comprise 65 percent of thecontinents overall population.
