CPI Slowed Down in October
In October, consumer price index rose by 4.0 percent over the same period of the previous year. Of which, urban area and rural area was up by 3.7 and 4.6 percent respectively; the price of foodstuff, non-foodstuff, consumable and services expanded 8.5, 1.6, 4.9 and 0.9 percent respectively. CPI got a decrease of 0.3 percent on a month-on-month basis: the price of foodstuff was down by 0.9 percent, of which, fresh vegetable surged 3.9 percent while that of fresh egg was down by 4.4 percent.
