Ｃａｎ ｅｘｐｏｒｔ ｒｅｂａｔｅ ｉｎｃｒｅａｓｅ ｈｅｌｐ Ｃｈｉｎａ’ｓ ｔｅｘｔｉｌｅ ｉｎｄｕｓｔｒｙ ｔｏ ｗａｒｍ ｕｐ？

The Chinese Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the State Ad-ministration of Taxation (SAT) have jointly published the Circular on Adjustment of Export Rebate Rate on Certain Textile Products and Garments, announcing the increase of tax rebates for exports of certain textile and garment from 11 percent to 13 percent as of August 1, 2008. Export contracts which have been put on file and exports which make customs declaration before January 1, 2009 shall receive the rebates according to the rate before the adjustment. Exports which failed to be put on file in due time and made customs declaration after December 31, 2008 shall implement the export re-bate rate after the adjustment.
