Chinese Wolfberry, Ginseng and Chicken Soup (Gouqi Renshen Jitang)
Ingredients
Half a chicken
(A) 1 tbsp. Chinese wolfberry, 3 pieces of ginseng, 3 slices of ginger
(B) salt
Method
1. Chop the chicken into chunks and blanch.
2. Put the chicken in a boiler, add 8 cups of water and (A), cook on high heat until boiling, then stew on low heat for 40 minutes. Add a pinch of (B) and serve.
